What happened to the fish? Winter spearfishing in England

Let's be real, diving throughout winter in England can be uninspiring at times. Not a lot of daylight, cold water and a general lack of fish. However if you know where to look you can still get a fantastic feed. I try looking for flatfish like plaice, flounder & sole on this day but didn't have any joy. As a consolation prize, I did find a bag full of delicious scallops.
