    Great walk-through. The complaints (Roller, trim gauge etc) as as important. Most boat walk through videos tend to be bragging videos. Well done.

      If that question was for me, yes. I like it overall, but it isn’t without some criticism. Weak trolling motor (easy fix). If I could do it again I would buy something more “bass centric” but overall I’m very happy.

    • @OkieOutdoorAdventures
      @OkieOutdoorAdventures  3 роки тому

      @Mike Oxmall well it’s a complicated answer. I exclusively bass fish from this and it does very well. Live wells are great, motor is solid.. my only complaint other than the current trolling motor is simply storage. The rod lockers suck so I use them for my boxes but it’s not ideal. For the money, you won’t regret it.

      Seating options, dual live wells, and recessed deck. You have several seating options so posting up two on the front deck and jigging for crappie, or up north for walleye. I use it to bass fish primarily. Lots of deck space, good amount of storage too. My complaint, if any, is the size of the rod lockers.

    My boat has some the same issues and it’s not a aluminum tracker. Lol my biggest one was the ignition switch spinning on me!! Drove me nuts finally only way I got it to fix was I put a really small drop of gorilla glue on the thread part at the back and just snuggled up the plastic tension nut. Haven’t had any issues in a year now. And if need to I can still get it to come off .

    Have you taken her through any rough water yet? I'm looking at getting the exact same set up and was curious how trackers handle in rough water

    • @OkieOutdoorAdventures
      @OkieOutdoorAdventures  4 роки тому

      My answer will be a bit subjective. I’ve had her out when waves were capping and it handled them fine. That said, rough water in Oklahoma is nothing compared to anywhere up north. Also, upgrade the trolling motor!! The short shaft causes the motor to come out, and 45lbs is just not enough. I feel like it handles most everything I’ve thrown at it so far, but again, rough here probably isn’t that bad.

    • @FrostyAlbatross
      @FrostyAlbatross 4 роки тому +1

      @@OkieOutdoorAdventures I'm coming out of Yukon, OK! Lake Eufaula is my old stomping grounds. So if they handle Oklahoma white caps, that's good enough for me!
      Yeah I was definitely looking at getting a bigger trolling motor. Probably somewhere in the 80 lbs thrust.

    • @OkieOutdoorAdventures
      @OkieOutdoorAdventures  4 роки тому +1

      My wife has friends in Yukon. I think it handles well, and isn’t the back breaker others would claim. Just cut the waves right and she’ll be fine. Also I’d say 80 minimum. Mine sits low in the back so I’m curious how it rides once I add my third battery

  • @upthecreekyt
    @upthecreekyt 3 роки тому +1

    I have the 2012 tf. Seems like not much has changed, including the weak trolling motor. If there's a constant wind above 6 mph + current, you're not fishing all day. Have you upgraded yours yet?

      I’ve not had any issues with it being slick at all. I have had issues with it being blistering hot in the summer though. I find myself fishing barefoot a lot and you’ll pay the price. As far as the carpet, yes it’s very snag proof. Surprisingly actually.

    I want one so bad, hopefully in the next year or two. There are lakes in WI that have Islands you can camp on, do some musky fishing and spend the night on an island 😁 is the boat relatively easy to launch/load/maneuver by yourself?

    • @OkieOutdoorAdventures
      @OkieOutdoorAdventures  2 роки тому +1

      Incredibly easy to launch and load alone. You all have some BIG water up there and I don’t know how well it would handle that. Not saying it couldn’t but I’m just not sure. I’d love to do the island camping, and Musky fishing is on my bucket list!

      @@OkieOutdoorAdventures Thanks for the Reply! Yeah, I won't be going on any of the great lakes, or even Lake Winnebago. Most of the lakes I would frequent are much smaller. Main lake is about 200 acres, which brings up the next question, how does it handle shallow waters? Big part of why I'm looking at these boats is because they're lightweight and the main lake has quite a few spots that are maybe 6-12 inches deep. Really appreciate your video, it was well done and very informative! Keep it up!

    Just curious but why did you buy new instead of used.

    • @OkieOutdoorAdventures
      @OkieOutdoorAdventures  4 роки тому +2

      Honestly, for a couple reasons. First, I couldn’t find anything I loved within my cash budget, and my credit union was more than happy to loan me more money. Second, I really didn’t want to buy direct from someone simply because of the unknown. Sure you could possibly get a great deal, but ultimately you just don’t know. I’m also using this as an opportunity to strengthen my credit so when the time is right I can truly upgrade into my “forever” boat.

    • @TheChanceFam
      @TheChanceFam 4 роки тому +1

      @@OkieOutdoorAdventures Yeah the unknowns of a used motor are probably my biggest fear. When you buy these at BPS can you customize the package at all or just get what they give you.

      They told me I could add whatever I wanted (at cost of course) and they’d have the tracker folks do it at the shop there. I heard someone say you could only get them stock, but they tried to get me to do all my upgrades then, and add it to my financing.

    • @OkieOutdoorAdventures
      @OkieOutdoorAdventures  4 роки тому +1

      If we’re talking cost, my final number was $22k. I put down $5k cash though so it’s not too bad. My complaint with the number though.. I got charged for upgraded brakes (cool), a customer cover (cool) and still saw charges for the disgusting trolling motor and electronics. All in all though I’m not totally displeased for a 2020 model that has treated me very well. That 75 is a beast for a small boat.
