Bro I’m furthest thing from BD fan, they have the most demanding book\drill that I’ve witnessed so far if they clean it.

In 2023 there's BD and then there's everyone else.
Anyone know why they are using the Ludwig Ultimate drums instead of the Performances drums? The performance series looks exactly like the System Blue drums made by Natal for them since 2016. The System Blue/Performance series drums are far superior in every way to the Ludwig Ultimate series. They are lighter, louder, more precise, more durable and look way better.
I'd like to know too
By assumption is just issues with manufacturing. I suspect that RCC 2022 and Blue Devils B have been using the "performance" Ludwig snares and tenors when they are actually just old Natal system blue drums. There might have been hope that Ludwig could continue the System Blue line, but asking a drum company to start a new line of marching percussion products that involve specialty carbon fiber rims might be a challenge.
Respectfully, this book just seems to be too insane to clean with the movement they do. Like a lot of the dirt I was hoping would clean up is pretty much still there. Still lots of improvements though, it's just those super tough spots. If they manage to get this perfect, it will be pretty incredible.

Bass line is fire - but I don't love the tuning. A bit dead. Maybe let them ring just a tad more?

they’re definitely not fully there yet but the book is extremely difficult and they’re still pulling some really good moments out of it. i’m not generally a blue devils fan but if the line can pull this book off fully it will be fantastic. still a long way to go
