Just for kicks I went back to look at the 2013 line. I just picked 10 years ago as an interval to look at between then and now. I don't know what's happened to the blue devils but jesus they were so good in 2013 as compared to now. I can't really say much about every year in between, but just as a comparison wow there's a big difference.
To be fair 2013 was a very special year with multiple I&E going to Kaito, Brandon, Chris, etc. Not hearing they'll be hosting one this year so we won't know. Speaking of 2013, this year's BD drum set solo is equally on par. So good!
Scott Johnson books always sound so unforgiving on the hands... and the brain. i can only imagine just how much improvement one could achieve with 1 season at BD
