@@brady2randy Just don’t, well I mean ya can-but if used on wet ground it gets gummed up pretty quick so you’re scraping out the mud where the blade is.
Good video, I tried the Oregon Gator Edger blades, they seem to kick out debris better and not cause the build up of mud an grass in the debris shield. If they are available there, give'em a try.
@MikesManCave right.. issue I just found was that the guide piece prevents it. Also another wheel would help (see the b&d 2in1 edger trencher). But the b&d looks like a piece of junk and I hate corded yard tools lol. Thanks
@@MikesManCave I cut mine at 4”. Been using a weed wacker without the guard to edge my lawn. Recently bought the Ryobi edger to get cleaner lines. I’ve been holding off trying it til I’ve found information on how to set up the proper depth. How do I know where to set mine at?
I got rotary scissors to help me as I’m typically lazy AF and my lawn easily gets away from me. I’m that guy. The rotary scissors make quick work of overgrown sidewalks… but I’m going to get this Ryobi as I don’t want to wear through the gearbox of the Rotary scissors (dragging it around and such), which cost almost twice this attachment.
Perfect video. Shows price, box to look for, confirms compatibility with Homelite and product in use. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the feed back and comment, much appreciated.
Yes its great, but you have to ensure the ground is totally dry first
Never had an issue, what happens when it's not totally dry?
Commenting for the algorithm, love how short the video is, thanks for the upload. I think ill get one tomorrow.
Thanks for the comment, works great. the more you use it the better you get.
Own also the Blower attachment, it's awesome.
Would be interesting to try.
That does a really nice job, haven’t unboxed mine yet 60 bucks at Home Depot and looking forward to using it tomorrow.
Ty for the video !
Bargain, can’t go wrong with it for that price, still going strong to this day…,
Just got one for 41 from an auction site. Brand new

Great to hear!

Nice video!! Thanks!!!👍🏾
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this! I want the US to adopt “whipper snipper”. Such a better name. Haha
🤣🤣Haha, I think the US name is funny
I find that ny edger makes larger gap than yours i dont know why.
You need to hold it straight.
Thanks mate
Thanks for the comment.
You think it might work to form your landscape trench like for mulch?
Could not imagine it, it’s a lawn edger with 2mm cutting blade

@@whppnpost1 Yes, I don't use corded tool these days,
D oes the height of your grass make a difference? I like to cut mine at a particular height.
Pretty sure it would, I think everyone cuts their grass at a particular height, depends what height you have.

How many times u think that blade will last
About 12 times.
It took me time to master it.
You just have to get the angle right.
Surprised only two year warranty on it.
Bit of a shorter warranty than the 18V Range. I actually have a video coming up about some Ryobi warranty claims I recently had.
@@MikesManCave Will be interested to hear Mike I havnt had to do any yet touch wood.
@@Mick_Au Had two recent warranty claims, but I do used a lot of Ryobi Products daily.

This works really well, not sure what rotary scissors are but this will certainly to the job.
