Hi Lena! ☺️ I used robinhood all purpose flour I also have used great valu from Walmart I’m in Canada so not sure if you have these brands around but Any all purpose flour should do.

Dough 4 cups of flour 3 tbsp of sugar 3 eggs Lemon zest 1 tbsp of salt Milk mixture 1 tbsp of vegetable shortening 1 1/2 cups of milk 3 tbsp of butter Yeast mixture 1/2 cup of warm water 1 package of yeast 8g 1 tbsp of sugar 1 tbsp of flour I’m not sure if you meant instead of shortening? If so I would use the shortening to get the same results. Thank you! 😊
Hello I like to know what kind of oil you use for fry and my room my stove Numbers 5 1/2 is medium heat could you please tell me what do you have a number you use on your stove please
Hello 🙂 I used vegetable oil for frying and for the number I don’t have a number on my stove but I have medium on it. Once the oil is hot they tend to fry pretty quick if this happens you can just lower it a little. It’s different for every stove my best advice is to keep a very close eye on it. Also your first donut will always be the tester so don’t worry if the first one isn’t great but your others will be perfect! 😊
