The kayak motor build is finally here! Sorry for the delay. This build was held back due to the "thing that for some reason we cant talk about".

Ive been following you for 4 years. I even donated into the kayak builds. Im not worried about the money. But i think alot of us have waited patiently for you to do things you promised you were going to do. At this point i guess i have to label you as a con man. You seemed honest and full of integrity at the beginning. But hell, i now feel as though ill probably be dead before we see anymore of the kayak builds you promised
Still waiting for more kayak build videos. Wish you'd do more on that was extremely interesting. A lot of guys running trolling motors on their kayaks and wanting to go faster.
Wait. Where the hell are the kayak builds?!?! There's only 2 videos on the other channel, but no kayak videos and nothing posted for 2 months?

Glad your back, I have a PA14 and use a modified cassette and a 45lb thrust trolling motor… i go 5-6mph tops and would love to improve on that 😀

I wonder if the Maytech MTI120116-WP would be a good motor for a 14 or 16ft aluminum boat or if it would be way too hard to push it around, any ideas? It is a 18kW (or close to 25HP) motor. I currently run a 15HP 4stroke on the back of my boat, but it barely enough...and if I could go 100% electric, and remove the need for a trolling motor as well, it would be so much better! I wonder if those motors could be adapted to work with a Spot Lock-enabled trolling motor! It would be the best of both worlds
7 months ago you said there would be more. The kayak stuff is how I found you. There's some other cool stuff you do, and I've subbed to both channels, but some sort of upload consistency would be nice.

I really enjoy your builds and the details you provide. FeelFree makes a very rugged pedal drive, they call it the overdrive, which can take their optional plug in motor unit. It is an elegant solution and well thought out with metal gears. But the motor drive is kind of expensive and sounds really noisy on the videos. My neighbor moved so I no longer have access to his machine shop. Since the motor unit slides into the aluminum frame I was thinking I could weld up an aluminum frame to hold the motor and then 3d print the outer sleeve and buttons to hold it in, but then there is the problem of cooling the motor. Any thoughts?

Instead of putting the electric motor in the water you could build it into a gear drive system down to the prop, just a suggestion like your video's

Justin, you're killing me smalls.... I have a pelican 10e br that needs a better motor/s. Gas engine is just too heavy. Its bad when a 40# trolling motor pulls it as fadt as a 3hp can push it.
