This customized Superman was incredible, great body choice, without a doubt the best body that McFarlane has ever made for the Super, congratulations on the video.
Haha trust me Bones I almost fainted when the trucks split apart after I cut them too short but you live and you learn. You got a real talent man means a lot that checked it out and approve 💪🏼💀
What’s up man ! Thanks brother that red son is one of my favorite McFarlane figures might have to get a custom head sculpt for my Superman to give red son his head back haha
@@Collect2Disconnect Hahaha I'm thinking of doing the same bro just hope it comes out as good as yours did (doubt it 😅) I've yet to customize anything because of my "steady hands" lol Good to see you still putting out videos man they're awesome! #C2Dgang 😎
Great to hear from you again my friend. Doing more than just posing toys on the shelf is really one of the best parts of this hobby, glad I get to share it with the world
My perfect superman was that superman vs ultraman 2 pack superman body with hush trunks, that ultramans cape with a custom S shield on the back and mullet supermans head and a torso extension and I think I had to use a taller neck peg! Looks fantastic standing next to my perfect Batman, spawn vs Batman 2 pack Batman with the black hush Batman head and McFarlane's classic wonder woman!
I love the cape on that spawn Batman, the head sculpt not so much haha, that sounds like a sick world’s finest, the mullet head looks great on any Superman. Random question how do you have WW posed? Never was a fan of her using a sword and shield, really want to add a bendy wire to her lasso to give her a added touch when posing
@@Collect2Disconnect boaring ass vanilla neutral pose with one hand on her hip:) I use one of the plastic coiled lasso's from gaddot ww instead of the string she came with, I didn't use the sword shield or axe either!
I used the hush superman and just swapped the upper torso part with the superman 1000 for the bigger symbol. I also used the head from the superman 1000.
I am inching ever so closely to attempting a full on custom like this. I have done head swaps but never attempted painting any figure. This came out really nice my man. Do you usually seal after you paint these up? I have seen people seal and not seal and I am not sure what's the better option.
So for this particular custom I only had matte sealer and didn’t want to lose the shiny finish , but because I used water down paint and let each layer dry to the touch each time the paint came out amazing on the joints and felt I didn’t need to get sealer. If I had normal gloss sealer I probably would have but to this day it’s in perfect condition. I definitely think some type of sealer is needed if you see the joints are chipping and probably require both sanding and sealer at the end. Thanks for watching hope your custom journey goes well!
On my custom, i used parts from Rebirth and Red Son, i noticed the pelvis piece on Red Son is slightly taller than Rebirth, so i used it and it made the figure taller and more flexible
I honestly didn’t realize red son and AC #1000 were on the same body till I made this vid haha never thought about it. But man McFarlane made a good Superman body considering it was from the very first wave
Yup true especially on the reuse of certain bucks like blue beetle body that keeps certain design for the cuffs and boots. The new infinite crisis Superman is pretty seamless right ?

The finished Supes looks cool.
I enjoy watching these process
how-to videos.
You do stuff I’m unwilling to try. 😅
Thanks for the watch I hope to make better quality and more in depth how to vids in the future ! Trust the process!
Damn very nice, especially the paint job
I appreciate that ! At first I thought I over did it a bit but looking at it now months later the paint job is my favorite part
That really pops!! Custom work definitely not for the faint of heart...looks awesome!! 👍💀

Wattup C2D! Freaking awesome custom! And that Red Son is badass, too! Great video bro! ✌🏽😎👍🏼

I can't understand why Mcfarlane insists on using plastic capes for his figures.
Well he is just now transitioning to not cloth capes but some even have bendy wire
cost is lower
I like it
Superb effort. Great project. Bravo. What a joy.

Wow! Came out wonderfully!
Thanks for the feedback !! 🙌🏽
Awesome video ❤
Thanks for watching 😁
Cool Video, nicely done.
Thanks for watching man ⚡️
I used the hush superman and just swapped the upper torso part with the superman 1000 for the bigger symbol. I also used the head from the superman 1000.
I wish I had the normal head from the Superman 1000 all I had was the mad face version. Thanks for watching !! 💪🏼

Was wondering why you didn't use the waist ball joint that went with the figure that the shorts went with
Haha yea it just clicked in my head maybe I should swap that out too man it was a pain to take off
It looks awesome with red son supe head...
Hell yea
Fire 🔥
The seamlines and wrist cuffs are annoying.
They keep the figures from looking like classic tights.
