I saw you there, well done. I was 6th and managed to get a new PB of 37:04 and could see myself in your video. Agree the wind was more annoying than problematic and agree with everything you said about the race.
The v4 is softer than v3? Are you positive on that, because the v3 is ultra soft and you said in another section of the video that the v4 midsole doesn't compress that much which is the opposite of this shoe being softer than the v3.
Compression, or compliance, as the Doctors of Running call it, is only one measure of foam performance. Resilience, how much & quickly the foam decompresses, how much energy it returns, is another, and perhaps more important one. The Hyperion Max is not soft, but is one of the most resilient/responsive shoes out there.
Whatever you can afford and are Truly Comfortable in Using NOT every shoe these guys use will work for you. Get real with yourself and your ability to run , remain consistent and actually finish an event... and feel good about yourself. Can't copy and paste everything you see on UA-cam. You can have all the top end kit.. but for sure some person will effortlessly pass you up with "clearance bought gear and NON Super shoes" ... ONLY then will you realize what you're truly made of.
Gave me blisters on front of my arches. Moleskin taped down the insoles which were sticking up from where the sides of the mid soles cup slightly upward, taping down helped but didn’t eliminate. Got half dollar sized blisters on both feet. Everything else on the shoes were great, too bad. Cushion was so soft, made me pronate which increased rubbing more. Shoelaces too short as well for heel lock/lacelocking. Less than 50 miles but I already feel the foam hardening a bit. Back to my superblasts.
I don’t buy Nike as their outsole and me do not agree (also some of their arches…). I wear them out within 400km, where I get more than 800 km from ASICS Decathlon or Mizuno and over 1000 from modern Puma’s. I even have this problem with their sport-wear shoes… So they might push the tech but not everyone can use them.
As with V3, im very reluctant to buy shoes like this with such a massive cut-out in the midsole....you definitely notice it and it's total bs that this arc has any benefits....
Bought these shoes so far all I've done is pr every race wearing them. Best shoes ever

The fit in the SC Elite i3 s the make or break factor.
Is this a good shoe for heavier runners?
Not sure your definition of heavy, but I ran a Pb half marathon in these 1hr 40 (4:45km pace) and I'm 90kgs and they felt great!
The V3 is a shocking shoe, hoping NB improves that
What shoe would you recommend for a 5:10/km marathon?

Well, I love my v3 so this one shoud be a no brainer for me. Not a fan of Nike at all so...
omg you fast...how to achieve that? :)
It's been 7 years since Nike took the running world by storm and most shoe companies still don't have a worthy competitor...
false
Adidas has 2
don't like any of the Nikes myself, Adios Pro 3 is far above any of them imo.
Nike. 😂😂😂

16 punds for a 10K race? I would not call that cheap!
Not uncommon to pay upwards or £25 for many 10ks in the UK now. Most of the big ones are about £35
Agree, just paid £28 for a 10k in Newcastle last weekend, granted it was very well organised.
