I find it crazy that in Australia the sc trainer is in aud $330 vs the elite at $360 making the elite a much better buy. Whereas in the US there is a much bigger price difference of $180 vs $250 making the sc trainer being a good value option.
I got the elite v4 for $200 online. Love it. I also have the SC trainer v3 and v2, I liked the v2 better, the v3 doesn’t feel as fast or seem to have as aggressive of a rocker. Don’t have a rebel.
FWIW your description stated all three have 100% PEBA foams but New Balance website states “The FuelCell Rebel v4 utilizes a midsole combination of PEBA and EVA foams.”
Ive tried the Rebel and the Trainer. I liked the idea of the Rebel with the lower stack, and also a low drop, but I felt weird with the arch of the shoe. I have medium arches but I felt like the shoes dag into my arches big time to the point of discomfort just walking around in them. Its however one of the few shoes that have that low stack and softness at the same time which was cool. I tried the Trainer and it just suited my foot perfectly so that was my choice.
My thoughts too. Great shoe, the first 150km for me were awesome but it quickly flattens out and loses its magic. On sale I still think it’s a fantastic shoe, I’m also 90kg so chances are I’m flattening the shoe out quicker as is
@@antonioromulodelcarmen283 Everyone's experience will differ. For what it's worth, I'm somewhere between 200-300 miles with mine and haven't noticed it falling off like this. For me, they still feel super light, fast, and fun with a nice spring to them. When it does drop off, this will be the first time I ever re-order the same shoe instead of trying something else out to see how I like it. Absolutely love the Rebel v4.
Must be a defect or the surface you are running on, because I have 150 kms on mine and they are still pristine as day one. I run only on pavement and I weigh 75kg.
@@mohammedkratos4352 There's a more stack height in the SC Trainer underfoot giving it a softer feeling, plus a wider base. The SC Elite v4's carbon fiber plate feels a bit stiffer and more springy for race day rather than training.
I'm going to get the Superblast 2 and I would like a shoe for speed training, what would you recommend Trainer v3 or Rebel v4? I'm afraid the Rebel won't last and the Trainer v3 will be too similar to the Superblast 2. Can you help me?
What did you end up getting? I want to get the superblast 2 as well. Im currently running in the sc rebel v4, but am now considering the elite v4 as an option now lol
marketing/design team at NB should really put effort to differentiate these shoes. Even with all explanations they are still very confusing. How could they manage to make a $140 look exactly the same as $250?

are they good for casual walk ? @@afwaller
@@pierrehahn64 uh, no.
Pacer also looks just like the others. New Balance has done a great job with fuel cell. Rebel V4 has been a joy.
Thank you for making this video!! I was so confused with all the different models of the shoes.

Good catch. We've updated the description. We dive into the difference of the foams in this video a bit as well.
I currently have both the Rebel v4 and the SC Elite. I found that the Rebel fit true to size but the SC Elite I had to go up a half size.
Gonna need an updated one with the new Pacer release 😂

The SC Elite v4 is a great pair of shoes. However, the tongue is way too short and it gets sucked back into the shoes with every damn step.
Please which is most max bouncy spring cushion puma magmax or sc elite v4 or sc triner v3
Are the dits the same dor these? I fit the Rebel v4 regardless of my bunions;). Is the Elite as accomodating? Or the trainer?
After almost 100km in the Rebel V4, the midsole is already very worn out and i don't feel the rebound anymore, which is a shame...
Wow... that's a shame. Thanks for sharing. I was ready to pull the trigger on these, but almost 100kms only and no rebound already?!?!

Which do you think is better out of the rebel v4 and propel v5? (which now incorporates fuel cell)
Do you think the fit is different between the Rebel v4 and SC Elite v4?
For me The Rebel had more room in the toebox and felt more tame. The Elite fit more snug and felt more aggressive making you lean forward.
@@JERZEEHOTBOY thank you, it’s what I was hoping because the Rebel v4 is too wide for me.
Which is most springy bouncy sc elite v4 or sc trainer v3
SC Elite v4 is more springy but the SC Trainer v3 will be bouncier.
@@fleetfeet699 .. but the two shoes same fuel cell midsole

@@fleetfeet699 .. why the price of sc elite v4 more than sc trainer v3 ?????
sc trainer v3 is so nice. much better balance than v2
Do you find you are getting more industry insider access at Fleet vs Believe in the run?

Isn’t there a fuel cell pacer?
Are the supercomp v3s softer under foot than the rebel v4?
I own both and yeah the Supercomp Elite V3 are softer, they are more stacked. The rebel has less drop than the Elite, and no carbon plate either.

That’s actually a good thing that they look similar. The tech is what makes the price different.
Damn Brandon cheated on BIR
Surprised me too
So the carbon racers have 100 peba, the Rebel has 20% peba and 80% Eva, and the trainer has 40% peba and 60% Eva but it’s supercritical.
What's difference between full peba and part eva part peba
