This get me emotional, idk why, probably the beauty of these shots, combined with the poetic representation of small moments of life. Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing!
I'm finally getting this lens after months to complete my set. Watching this makes me so excited and inspired. Great footage, man. Makes you think.. how a place and person is usually part of the same sentence.
Beautiful ! Wow. One shot, I could see the shape mask around the subject a little too much. When she’s facing the water. But otherwise I was hypnotized, loved it.
Hello David, I have a lens question; Meike 25mm vs Meike 16mm: If I plan to shoot shorts, features, etc. which of the two lens(meike 16mm or meike 25mm) would you recommend(if only one is the option) if I plan to shoot the entire film(s) with only one, and why?
Hey. Go for the 16mm if your still deciding. (Assuming you’re shooting on a MFT mount like the black magic 4k. You will be able to do some wide and some tight shots verrrry successfully with the 16. The 25 however will be challenging to get most wides. You’d find yourself backing up so far to frame them that you run into stuff lol. The 16mm on bmpcc4k is the everything lens.
The title cards were handwritten on iPad and overlaid on Davinci Resolve! You could probably achieve the same results with a sharpie and a piece of paper if you have a smartphone (I use a free scanner app sometimes).
@@davidcho1952 Howdy!! I actually own that same lens and the same camera! That is great to see the quality that you can get, im also from California too.
I guess you can say I didn’t want to deal with the ramifications of interacting with a person under the influence while holding somewhat of an expensive (for me at least!) setup. Cool idea for next time I visit San Francisco again though! Thanks for tuning in prince!

Do you own any other meike? This is so amazing btw :)
This is really nice man! Do you use a filter on the Meike?
Thanks man! I had a UV filter that I sprayed some febreeze on (and let dry) to mimic a mist filter, which is giving the footages the light diffusion
is the text written in your handwriting or is it a font? if so, what is the name of the font?

@@davidcho1952 very cool thank you! great work
Great job! Did you use a gimbal for some of the shots? What did you edit on? Davinci? FCPX?
Thank you! These were all handheld and some of them were stabilized in post with Davinci Resolve :)

cool shots. but why didn't u record the homeless encampments, transexuals, dogs, and drug addicts defecating all over the city to show the real SF?
