Beautifully filmed and produced brother! There's only a handful of actual filmmakers on UA-cam that aren't making travel films and hype, but real stories that are inspiring. Much love bro!
Unreal. Like other's have said - finally somebody using this beast of a camera for SERIOUS filmmaking. You should be really proud of this as a piece of work. Also beautiful performance from the narrator/actress. Awesome.
Awesome Josh, great piece, i really like the low angle shots and the straight on shots of the subject, both really powerful. The reveal shot at the end was also really nice. Thanks
Stunning. Absolutely stunning work bro! This is well done. Congratulations on this. This is art. Inspirational, emotionally engaging, and beautifully captured. Your cinematography is tier ONE!
What a POWERFUL way to send a message of hope. I know a lot of people that personally battle with their mental health and they need to know they are not alone. EVER. I'm going to be sharing this with them for sure. great work guys! definitely be very proud of this.
Joshua Martin Studios I tried really hard to find something ... no success ;) You have a great style - it seems so close and personal. It feels like I‘m actually there and not watching a video. Awesome! 👍🏻👍🏻
Good Job !!! from the composition of the shots , to the poem, the colors , choice of back ground piano, ...dope... I subscribed .... I was not expecting this, I clicked on one of your videos because I am comparing GH5S to BMPCC4K 😁.... I love the style, I do write poem myself and I'am getting into filmmaking to able to better tell those stories with words sounds and images. Great Stuff you did here... Congrats to the both of you and anyone else who worked on this 👍🏽👊🏽✌🏽
Wonderful, amazing, and so superbly filmed. I'm so delighted to be a subscriber and a follower of your filming journey. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
That anamorphic lens is absolutely insane, I am drooling at the quality of it in all those environments. I just invested in a BMPCC4K so hopefully down the line I can upgrade my lens kits. This was incredibly eye candy to watch before it arrives tomorrow. Amazing film!
@@joshuamartinstudios you already know! I dig seeing work that inspires me to get better! This is the level of cinematic quality I'm chasing right now. I'm close, but not quite THIS good. This looks like a whole ass Hollywood film, Bruh! #DOPENESS
This is so nice ! Flares, oval bokeh and the especially the natural color grading! Organic Cinematic Image. I watched it on my 55" 4K TV and the image are so nice and organic even though it's cropped from the centre to get the CinemaScope ratio. Good job!
Hey Josh! I’ve been following you for a bit now, I LOVE your stuff. If you don’t mind me asking what your color grade workflow is like? Maybe you could do a video on it!
If you go,to my ig you can see the BTS of the video. But I was a one main bad with some help from a few friends. I rigged out my bmpcc4k with the anamorphic was from SLR magic.
How did you manage of handling the distortions? I notice their 2x anamorphic lenses seems better than their 1.33x types for APS-Cs. Really digging that soft contrast look from your videos by the way!
I didn't manage the distortion. I let it come through honestly. It was a "risk " to use the 35mm on the bmpcc4k because of the wider aspect ratio. But I embraced it and used it for the story. But great question. And thank for watching! I hope that answers your question
@@joshuamartinstudios thx. I have a aps-c sensor. First i want the 35mm. At the time i see the 50mm have not so extremly distortion like a 35mm. A little bit distortion is ok for a anamorphic lens.
@@joshuamartinstudios I've been in Davinci for the past few months and hands down a MUCH better experience from Premiere. Now I just have to learn how to make cool transitions from scratch lol
If I put an ND filter on my anamorphic lens slr magic 1.33x 40 the flare effect is lost, can I use an ND filter without losing any of the properties of the anamorphic?
I also think that there should be no problem. Tomorrow I get a good ND filter from amazon, so I will leave doubts. Thanks for your response, I love your content!

Beautiful and THANK YOU SO MUCH for making the project on the aspect ratio you wanted to deliver instead of putting massive letterbox. =)

Yup. Subbed.

beautiful stuff! it's shoot on an anamorphic lens or anamorphic adapter?
Thanks! This was shot on the actual MFT Anamorphics
