The amount of blood on those clothes is horrifying
The Coroner/ME stated the amount of blood loss would not sustain life during the early part of the investigation, hence the charge against her now-deceased husband.

i think, from watching many crime shows, that the act of slicing up a woman's clothes and underwear is strictly to terrify and cause extreme fear and vulnerability. Poor Jennifer my gosh. This really brings her manner of death into perspective. 😢😢

The prosecutor should change her gloves with each exhibit she opens to avoid cross-contamination of the evidence.
It’s already been submitted and examined with science the gloves allow a barrier of politeness.

She was a tiny woman. Vineyard Vine slogan "Every day should feel this good" just flies in the face of how it really felt. There certainly was no care in the removal of her bra and shirt, it looks like he cut both garments in one fell swoop. What a monster! I'm not convinced the girlfriend was part of it though.
Maybe she wasn't present for the murder but she were involved after the murder for sure....

Where did they find her tops? I assumed she was cut up and then thrown into all those different garbage cans he drove around to. Is there something that suggests this was not done in the evidence they have?
My guess is they cut her up and disposed of her body part in random area. Maybe burned her to disguise evidence, but I dunno. It doesn’t feel like they were like intelligent about hiding evidence. Perhaps those drop areas weren’t caught on camera, or trash cans/dumpsters were emptied before police were able to track down the locations.

If her clothes are bloodied, and cut down the middle - how are they presuming that she was killed? I know they don't have that to prove, but I am stumped. There are no holes in the shirt from knife wounds that would cause that much blood. It's awful!

Man I don't know if they got enough to convict her with murder. I think the evidence is clear that she helped him cover up a crime but so far nothing beyond that.
If she did help him despose of a body why not going for a plea deal? Tell them where they could find the body and do your time. The only reason why I think you wouldn't do that is when your anticipating to find something on the body that connects you to the crime itself.

The witness cannot testify to the results of the blood tests on those items.. that will be the techs that did the tests. He can only testify to finding the items, verify what in court is what he saw. But his testimony is important because it allows prosecution to bring in the lab tech to get the dna results in. Unfortunately, courts have to go by stuff piece by piece, and people can only testify to things that are in the scope of their duty (ie detective vs tech vs medical examiner, etc) and what they THEMSELVES saw or did, and if they have an expertise they are allowed to offer hypothesis on what that information might mean.
That’s why this guys testimony is rather boring. It’s literally just to get the items in, so they can later admit the dna tests done on the items into evidence on court records

In my opinion she knows more than she is letting on...she lied about his alibi. There is no way Fotis was driving around in silence after such a brutal act & a history of known animosity/anger toward Jennifer (which Troconis also seemed to feel per her police interview) without him giving some hint about what had occurred. I don't believe she didn't ask any questions about why he was driving to random trash receptacles and dropping things in gutters. Any intelligent adult would wonder what was going on. Maybe she believes that silence will work in her favor & that there isn't enough evidence to pin this on her, evidence and time will tell I guess. My heart breaks for beautiful Jennifer and her children.

Probably because her hands were ziptied behind her back so is was easier to cut off her shirt and bra instead of having to untie her hands and take clothes off of dead body.

It just confirms that the bra was cut off and nobody would cut their own bra off so it had to have been done by somebody. So it just further proves a little added detail to what was done to her

Yes to link the bra and the shirt to the same person and crime as the bags were dumped in different trash cans. Defense could (well stupidly) argue “How are you sure both bloody bra and shirt are Jennifer’s? Maybe they were someone else’s and planted with Jennifer’s blood?”

Prosecutors usually choose which witness can best introduce or testify in regard to given evidence and often things like DNA and Finger Prints are best introduce through an expert witness as opposed to the police officer that collected evidence items so chill!!
