Our 180 lb. German shepherd would not get into the tub for his bath unless there was a towel in the bottom and I think that's because it helped him be more stable on his feet on that slick surface. We put the towel down in the tub and then slightly wet it so that it wouldn't slip so easy. As soon as he would see the towel, he would jump right in. Happy New Year!
This is a very good tip. Thank you. I'm glad I read your comment. I have a Caucasian Shepherd and a border collie. The Caucasian Shepherd is so big the tub is like a bucket.😅. The collie doesn't like it because she slips and what you said makes sense. Will ensure a towel is used. 🙏
@@ChiChi_Shaw if you just dampen the towel a very little bit, it won't slip in the tub near as much. I'm not sure how much this might have to do with it but we always put the clean towel on the floor and let the dog lay on it here and there through the house and kind of get used to recognizing that it was a safe place to be. We suspected that when the dog would see that towel in the tub, he didn't hesitate to just jump in. This dog was so funny. Even when it wasn't time to eat, he would go get in the tub and stand there and bark hoping that it would get him some food. He weighed about 200 lb and he was absolutely huge. He was a very large-boned German shepherd with the sweetist disposition. But, he had a great sense of who was good and who was bad and when he thought somebody was bad he was business.
@byrw9557 Oh, this is good to know, I'm lying down and smiling while reading this comment. I will do that. My Caucasian Shepherd is 1yr 8 months so she can learn and adjust, especially when she feels safe. She's so big she literally will walk in. Lol. Oh my goodness my dog paws for treats, she will paw and paw. 😀 Thank you so much. God bless. 🙏
I don't care for orange juice. But I do love oranges. so I would love to have your orange tree. BTW, oranges are better for you because of the fiber in the oranges.
Happy New Year guys!! Sophie is just adorable! She made me remember my old friend. An old English Shepherd. He didn't like bath time at all but once he was there, he was very calm and cooperative. After bath everyone wanted to take photos with him and he was delighted. 8 years since he is no longer with me, I miss him so much.
Happy New Year Cole, Charisma and Sophie! ❤️ I live in Arizona, and we too have citrus trees. People squeeze the juice and freeze in ice trays. Just an idea to get the most out of your oranges. 😁 My mouth was watering!! Mmmm
Happy New Year 🎉 Sophie was such a a good girl with getting her bath ❤️ You guys are lucky to have an orange tree and I bet the orange juice was delicious 😊 May 2024 be a filled with blessings and love for you both and Sophie too ❤❤
Sophie was so good for her bath! You prob already know but you can freeze oranges in a freezer bag for up to 6 mo. Not sure how good they'd be but I really like the idea of putting them in an ice cube tray!
❤❤❤😊😊😊😅😅😅😂😂😂😂Happy New Years!! Ahh brings back memories of living California, San Diego area...one time I called my 3 yr old grandson to see some hail falling...I asked him, what is that? As he stared at the hail hitting the patio...he replied, with no hesitation...ICE ROCKS...😂😂😂❤❤❤GOOD TIMES!! PEACE AND LOVE!
You can pour the oj into an icecube tray or plastic freezer bags. So delish to enjoy on a hot summer day. Sophie is a real trooper! Such a sweet girl. Happy New Year all the best of the best for 2024!
"what the HAIL goin' on?!" 😂😂 Happy New Year Y'all, excited to see what life has in store for 2024. Thanks for making me envious of your orange tree!! 🍊
Those look like lemons instead of oranges. I love you guys relationship, You two are too adorable. Good luck on everything in the future. I wish you two the best in everything. I keep laughing because every one here keeps saying it is cold in California, cold is -20 degrees or 20 below zero. I am from IL we wear light jackets up here, it is like summer up here to me.
I don't think you can freeze oranges but you can make orange juice and freeze it in ice cube trays. Then place them in a zip lock bags. When you want fresh oj, just thaw the cubes . Happy New Year to one of my favorite couples.
It is so nice to know that even a disabled person is still able to do a lot like picking oranges from a backyard tree. A disabled person can still enjoy a fulfilling life. happy new year!
You should be able to pull easily! If the orange does not release with little effort they are not ready. I usually just twist at the stem. If it doesn't come away easily it's not ready.
You can also freeze orange juice in ice cube trays and add it to water or juice drinks. It's better than plain water. My hubby is like Cole about eggs, he eats 2 eggs every morning from the skillet, but will not eat deviled eggs, or any other kind of eggs.
I love drinking orange juice in the morning with my cereal. I remember growing up. I used to put 7 up in my orange juice and it tastes like orange soda.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video. You can freeze orange juice, and I think it's good for up to a year. You can also candy the peels, and even cook in the peels that you hollowed out. Oh...and orange marmalade!
I had orange trees...best to taste first for sweetness...you can squeeze the juice and freeze in ice cube trays...then save the cubes in baggies to use whenever you want juice😊
My parents live in Orange and they inherited the house from my grandparents that had the house when it was first build and it came with a beautiful mature orange tree. They’ve had the tree for about 80 yrs and still to this day it produced the biggest sweetest oranges!!!!
You can juice them and put in ice cube trays and freeze (then transfer to freezer bags)for later use so you don’t have to worry that they will go to waste. That’s what my family does with their orange tree in AZ. Yum😋😋
Love you two & Sophie. When we had an orange tree, we had a grabber or picker. It's on a long handle & is a little metal basket type thing that fits around the orange & you pull the orange off.
Lol, with the Oranges, donate them to some of the homeless shelters in area. When I lived in North Hollywood years ago, we had fruit trees an fused a long picker like you have.. Ah memories😍. See if you can juice them, the freeze it in cans or something freezable. Just defrost and drink👍 Welcome to Cali, where hail & rain are random, lol are your chair cushions SOAKED? SOPHIE you did great with your bath. Good girl👌
Keep the orange peels, let them dry out then add them to boiling water. The smell through out your house will be amazing! You start to lose the vit C as soon as you juice them so you are wise to pick them as your need them.
Keep orange peels for natural dish washing liquid. Add baking soda with orange peels and water in the fridge for a couple of days. Or orange peel tea is very soothing

Sophie is so adorable! You guys are awesome parents, she listens so well! Love the orange tree, wish I had one but that is unrealistic living in Ohio.
That kitchen is so beautiful!

It is so nice to know that even a disabled person is still able to do a lot like picking oranges from a backyard tree. A disabled person can still enjoy a fulfilling life. happy new year!
@radiumlyte Yes, yes they can. Disabled doesn't mean they are **unable**. It means they **do things differently**.
You should be able to pull easily! If the orange does not release with little effort they are not ready. I usually just twist at the stem. If it doesn't come away easily it's not ready.
Sofie learns fast. Cool to have a fruit tree right in your back yard. California Oranges! Glad they're juicy and Sweet. 🍊🌞
Lovely oranges 🍊 Happy new year to you guys❤
Awww your Sophie is so adorable, just like you two. ❤️🇬🇧
You can also freeze orange juice in ice cube trays and add it to water or juice drinks. It's better than plain water. My hubby is like Cole about eggs, he eats 2 eggs every morning from the skillet, but will not eat deviled eggs, or any other kind of eggs.
Yes that was beautiful with the ☀️ and 🌧️ at the same time. I like to play in the rain sometimes
Sophie is an absolute darling and great that you have an orange tree! You can also use a "bath-mat" for Sophie to prevent slippage.🌻
U guys r so great. I really enjoy your videos. O n wow I noticed that you guys r almost hitting 1 million soon.

Charisma your name diffidently matches your personality and Cole and you fit perfectly
You are great couple. God bless your husband and you
