I've been so worried about you because I wasn't exactly sure where you are located. So glad you are OK. Where Ian came ashore is just devastated. Praying for all of your fellow reptile buddies. @@elainembla Ty and his crew are fine and all animals are fine and accounted for. They have some flooding, I know in the gift shop and all the fences are down and some habitats destroyed. They have to keep some of the animals in temp cages until repairs can be done. He is posting videos on his fb page, if that helps.

Ty Park posted everything on his Facebook and man those enclosures (most) withstood amazingly and the animals are good thank god. Hope things clear up soon! Thanks for the update Kamp Kenan! 🐍🐢🦎🐊

one of the few things I like about storms, is that the air quality after they pass is just amazing. Glad the Kamp was safe, hope the others can recover quickly.
I've been waiting for this video for two days. If you had been live streaming I would have tuned in. I'm also very interested in watching a rundown of the other Florida reptile ranches this week following the Hurricane.

The crazy thing is with her not being kenans biological daughter she's a lot like him and loves animals like him but it's like my oldest son I met my husband when my son was a month old he's been his dad for the whole 21 years of his life so far and he has his attitude his heart snd alot of other things more then the two I had by him lol it's so funny and weird at the same time how when you raise a child they end up being like you like my niece is with me She's more like me then her mom cause I raised her more then her mom did lol

Over 2 years ago when Hurricane Laura hit my area in Louisiana the very tall pine tree I had close to my trailer snapped. The top half that broke fell straight down, had it fell towards the east it would have landed on top of my mobile home!! I was very fortunate!!

Your camp looks amazing when wet! All the enclosure and woodwork looks fresh and stable and so beautiful after a rain. Love seeing the snaggle tooth and dale looking so happy with their new water level. Need to make sure that stays high.

Things over here in fort myers are catastrophic. The backside winds seemed worse the the front winds. Thought it was never going to stop. Glad you and the animals did well. We were lucky too.

I'm so glad you faired well. Our family home was where the eye hit and I'm just catching up on videos today. I was sorry to see Ty's place. He is about 45 mins from us. I know what we suffered and I knew he'd have some damage as well. Thanks for the updates.

Ty had a lot of structural damage but no one lost or injured. San Antonio Zoo and Fort Worth Zoo are sending teams to help him rebuild.

Haven’t watched video yet. Saw comment. What happened to Ty. I hope everyone is ok. I’m in southern Georgia and it just barely missed us but we still got some bad winds but not much else.
His place was hit pretty bad. Some structural damage and that was yesterday evening. Haven't heard anything else yet

@@jebVlogs556 I haven’t finished watching the video yet but what I have watched so far hasn’t mentioned Ty. I can’t remember where his park is located in Florida. But Almost everything I’ve seen so far there wasn’t much of Florida that wasn’t effected by Ian in some way shape or form. Once I finish watching the video if I remember I’ll post if he mentions it.

Saw Ty's post on instagram about the damage done to his facility. Absolutely heart-breaking knowing the amount of time, money and effort he's put into it, but thankfully at least none of his animals have been harmed so everything that has been damaged is replaceable. If some kind of crowd funding thing was set up for him to soften the blow and help him pay for repairs I'd definitely contribute what I can.

The water in my brother’s pond in W Palm rose to within 6 feet of his back door! Those ferns can be divided when they get large & replanted. Dividing/transplanting is best done now (in the fall) and in the early spring.
Wow that's an immense amount of water and the initial storm hasn't hit by you , whoa! I was thinking about you yesterday , I also saw Paul Cuffaro's sanctuary which has also gotten a huge load of water. where most of his animals enclosures are filled with it! Hoping you , your family and reptiles fare well, as well as your property and home, hoping and praying, for all your friends subject to the eye of the storm! Thank You for the update! Oh just got to the 2nd portion of your video and I'm so happy you dodged structural damage!!! Again I hope all your friends are as lucky as you especially those closer to the storm.

Kenan, get a nice pair of pruners with a belt holster, and any time you see something that needs pruning, you've got your tool right there, as you travel around the property. Felco makes really good ones.

Glad you, your family and the animals are ok. I am from TX and grew up on the TX coast, so very familiar with hurricanes. Was in Brownsville, TX when Beulah (Cat4 - 5) hit there back in the late 60s. Our house was ok, but neighbors house was hit by a tornado in the hurricane and lost their entire roof which was lifted off intact and put down right next too it. Hurricanes are bad by themselves, but they generate a bunch of tornados too and the flooding. I was in Palm Beach when Hurricane Andrew hit Florida back 25 or so years ago. Not fun.

About knives.
My oldest son got his driving license a while ago. After using my car his first weekend as a driver he told me (Fishing is my biggest hobby) to maybe take out my knives out of the car. Because his friends wondered why there was knives everywhere 😅
After almost in panic going through the car I had a bag full of 22 knifes. So yeah, I understand Kates concern about the knives lmao 😂

I was watching Storm Chasers and Ryan Hall, Y'all for the real time view of what happening out y'all's way, So happy your family and all the critters are doing well. thanks for the up date, much appreciated. the animals seem happy and less worried then the rest of us lol. what did surprise me tho was how much the big tortoises loved the water. that was really cool to see and observe. maybe they get a cool water feature with a rain shower they can walk thru and soak in when they feel up to it... just a thought :)
