I signed up for the flight simulation + intro flight! Are we allowed to bring our own go pros / phone mount to film?
How is the R44 different to the R22 for this - trying to decide which one to go for, thanks!
Essentially the R44 is a bigger R22 so there are a lot of similarities. However, when flying there are a few key differences: 1> The R44 has a lot more power and consequently can go faster and climb more quickly. 2> The R44 has hydraulics on the cyclic and collective making then have a slightly different, some would say more artificial feel on those controls 3> Its longer, making it more important to have situational awareness when landing 4> Its skids are placed further back relative to where you sit than the R22 making set downs different 5> The tail rotor seems more powerful, making it feel like the pedals have more authority than the R22. They are a few, in my opinion but should give you an idea.
