Really great recipe. I used to eat a lot of junk food, and these are like blessing nowadays. I got terribly fat and worst thing is I wasn't noticing it until I went to doctor for a checkup and my results were terrible. That's when I decided to start living healthy. Bad thing is I am lazy and hate to research about food and I just couldn't count calories all the time so I decided to invest in a meal plan from Next Level Diet. Best thing I got myself in this life. I lost so much fat and got so much more energy when I started eating healthy. Thank you again for all these healthy recipes you give to us.
This recipe has at least 1700 calorie and at least 180 grams of fat - that’s just the Mayo. Not sure what else the shrimp brings. Daily intake of fat is recommended to be 44-77 grams based upon a 2,000 calorie diet (which is low - but do the math for 2,500 calories per day and a quarter serving is still way high). So for watching your weight - this is not a good recipe. Congrats on all your your amazing success though. That is a real accomplishment.
I think it is SUPER GREAT you are getting on track with your health.....way to go, Dude! :) :) :) As for all those concerned with the mayo/fat/calorie content in this recipe? Remember you're not eating this ALL the time..... if you're using it as a treat tucked in your diet between all Lisa's other recipes, healthier eating as a lifestyle and movin' ya butt with some exercise, why not indulge in something as good as this, occas? Just a thought..... :) :) :)

I made shrimp salad for dinner 2 nights ago. Very similar to your, but used scallions, and some very finely diced sweet red pepper along with the celery. Roasted the shrimp in a 375° oven until they were just pink (prefer to poaching as I think it intensifies the flavor), then cooled and chopped. Served in toasted brioche buns and devoured.
I like your idea of roasting, Kim..... I was going to pan fry mine for some caramelization bits and add some moroccan/north african spice for a variation (ha, dill is just too hard to find on vacation ) but I think I'll try your oven tip to make things simpler for a beach condo kitchen.....thanks for the idea! :) :) :)
I made this for dinner tonight. And It. Was. Amazing! I had to walk away from the bowl because I couldn't stop eating!! I didn't have enough mayo to make a cup so I rounded it out with Greek yogurt. Fantastic recipe!! Thank you Lisa!!!!

this is definitely my go to recipe. Sometimes I cut the mayo in half and use half mayo and half sour cream and it makes it a little more tangy! my family also enjoys a little shake of cayenne in ours!

Definitely trying this one!. I'm going to replace the celery with cucumber (not a celery fan) and plain Greek yogurt over the mayo for a lower calorie option. The lettuce wraps look amazing! Bet I can even get the kids to eat it!

Yep! And I've started purchasing Avocado Mayo instead of regular Mayo about a year ago. It's a bunch healthier, and less calories and the best part is it tastes De-lish!!😋😎
