Thanks for watching! I love Ibanez basses; they seem to deliver at every price point. My first bass that I had in middle school was a really cheap sound gear but I ended up keeping it for a long time because it was dependable.
my trial just ended for this amp. I loved it although i did experience some scratchy fuzzy sounds. I did not know how to get rid of it, but i just bought a UA volt 1 so im still learning how to use this stuff.
You MUST make sure (!) you're input gain dial on your interface is set to ZERO, DO NOT adjust the level up until it's just not clipping, that is only for microphones. So many people fuck this up. Also, depending on what you are used to, sometimes people find the tones are harsher to sit in a mix than you might be used to. Many people i know will shift one of the mics (usually the second 121 ribbon or condenser) on the cab slightly further out a little bit. They actually sit perfectly in a mix with little work though. Hope any of that helps.
I have bought the Tim Henson plug-in, which I like for clean stuff, and I have been using the... ahem, *extended trial* of Gojira, which I love. I'm really thinking about buying this plugin because I feel that, between this one and Tim Henson's , I'll have everything I need for my guitar playing. I love having a simple interface where I don't spend 3 hours fiddling with buttons and components and racks and wirings and all that crazy stuff just to end up sounding basically the same as everyone else lol.
@@visionswords5477the secret is to lower the input and lower the gain to almost nothing. You can get crystal clear stuff with some post EQ, but i dont love the clean channel either. Alot of work for whats stock in other amps like plini’s
@@visionswords5477 Nice I feel that way about my Hybrid PT. It was my first scecter and I was blown away by the quality. Usually an Ibanez man myself but schecter is growing on me.
the tones you can dial in on this one are pretty tasty in my humble opinion. just threw together a few songs using gojira and abasi amps and they sound fine enough :T
@@visionswords5477 i did. No regrets, and normally im hella stingey with vst's. I got it for 60€ a few years back. I thought of it like a AAA game in price. Except i get way more use out of this than any game.
Great riffs, concise and well thought out review, really liked this. (Also, SRMS bass gang rise up 🤘)

Very good points made at the start dude.
I'm not surprised you agree lol I might have to a NAM video here pretty soon...
Curious to see what you ll do after the trial ends 😁
My wallet is sweating 😅

Yeah, it's not the amp sim so you have to go through your signal chain to see what's happening; guitar > cables > interface.

If you only want to have one amp sim, this has mostly has what you need (I didn't love the clean channel though, tbh).
you can buy it on ndsp’s birthday for half the price

How do you like that Schecter? I have the the Ultra Violet PT with 57/66 emgs. The Hybrid. Thing is a beast.
I love it. It's been the first one I reach for since I got it. This is the PT Pro

What tuning are you using man? And please do a video on your mix ❤
I'm just in good ole drop D. If I did it mix breakdown, it would be on an official Vision Swords track 😉

You can definitely get a good sound quickly on this one!
Nice riff test🔥
Thanks for listening!
What bass is that?? I want it lol
It's the Ibanez SRMS805. I love it; the pick ups sound great and something about the neck is very comfortable to play on.
Everyone waits for a sale and buys it for 50€. Its well worth it at that price. Its solid, reliable and has loads of great features.
"Everyone"? I'm pretty sure a lot of people have bought this in the past few weeks. I might pick it up on a Black Friday sale or something.

@visionswords5477 Birthday sale is coming up in the next couple weeks (End of April) and has same 50% off as Black Friday
