  • The Yamaha Stagepas 1K MKII portable PA system is a pro piece of gear. It sounds amazing and really easy to use. This portable PA is great for general PA system use, small to medium size gigs or with the addition of one or more powered speakers, you can use the Stagepas as the hub for a larger PA system.
I use this PA every day. I keep it at Mike Risko Music playing music through it via Bluetooth. We also use it every week for gigs. This PA is great for a duo or trio. We use it for guitar and one or two vocals. Very convenient and easy to transport.
The sound is clear and punchy with plenty of volume. This PA is extremely resistant to feedback. You can stand right in front of it with a guitar or microphone with no feedback issues.

Thank you, do you like the product, what is your application, I use this speaker for many of our events. One drawback is although there is a monitor out you cannot adjust individual volume separately for each performer, so if the singer wants more volume when you turn the monitor up everyone goes up. In the case of event where we need "more" I use Yamaha mixers and Yamaha speakers. Video coming soon

Hey Mike! I have two of these each running atop the Harbinger V218 subs. I’m getting a second pair for left/right for larger crowds.
When coupled together the sound seems to more than double! I’ve decided because of my health and for ease of set up and break down that this is where I’m headed.
With the Mackie DL32s digital mixer and powered monitors I can set the stage myself if needed.
This set up may not be for real large crowds, but then again..who’s playing large crowds? LOL. Thanks for the upload.

Hi Mike what's the best line out of it to another powered speaker?

Just seen your video, I have the Jbl eon one mk2 but I’m still deciding on switching them up. Do u know if these would be good for DJ use? Jbls are 1500 watts but at times I feel it doesn’t have that punch or db it says it’s supposed to. Thanks! Great vid

Thank you, I don't know that much about the JBL, but yes I love the Stagepass. But if you want a real thumping bass sound for DJ ing I would get a Yamaha DXS 15" sub and a 10" or 12" Yamaha DXS for the top.
If you like the Stagepass and don't need the mixer you can get its companion DXL1K, same speaker without the mixer. Not sure it is going to be thumping enough
Let me know if you have any questions
