Omg, goes immediately from diarrhea to dipping a water bottle into a stagnant mosquito pool! You aren't making this easy on yourself haha
Probably had a filter in the bottle
@@herstelfrikandel4664 It's also Lapland. The water there is insanely pure.
@@aarnehalen1686 Stagnant pool of water is still the best way to get diarrhea even in Lapland :P
@@beloved_lover True true. Would only drink from streams
That Salomon Xa filter would take care of anything that you might not want from that water.
Stomach issues are the literal worst, it's so easy to give up if your stomach just doesn't want to work with you.
Fantastic display of willpower though, great editing as always.
Congrats on the 100k!
thank you!!
100%, my stomach issues are tied to my anxiety,, so I just have to push through them before the race
👍
@@TheUnlazyWay i know a guy who did a 100 mi run
I'm eternally thankful that I have the digestive system of a goat. I can eat the weirdest and the spiciest foods without much issue, I can go on pretty much any boat or on any ride without throwing up, and my doctor said I was one of the only patients he's had that actually managed to gain weight during chemo.
Awesome storytelling! Well done on your accomplishment and on making ultra-running look exciting in a video, which is not that easy 😄
Omg! One of my favourite UA-camrs in the comments of another one of my favourites! Love both of you guys content
🥰
That's insane. I wonder how stupid a person must be to run 100k. I hope I'm stupid enough to do it myself some day 😀
Pretty stupid. It's addiction but of good kind.
If you look up a pace calculator, 100K over 17 hours is roughly 16 and a half minutes a mile. Thats like a really really fast walk, or a super super slow run. When i was a beginner at 12 years old I was running a 15 minute over the course of one mile (cause obv a beginner usually can barely run more than a mile at a time.) The pace he was going at was actually incredibly impressive given the distance he ran, but there were rest stations and im sure he trained for an incredibly long time. I don't think it would be too unbearable if you invest a lot of time and effort into the sport.
@@pollux_id2557 I'm not entirely sure you got the meaning of my post... 🤔
@@inz_uzi oh my bad
@@pollux_id2557 16 minutes per mile isn't a really really fast walk, I'd say it's more of a "walking with a purpose" kind of deal, but obviously he's going up hills and such so it's a little different
This mini documentary is one of the best of what i watch in sport category , the way you're telling the story , the filming , the music ... Everything is on point ✨ good job John on your first 100k marathon and on this masterpiece video 📸 .
2:37 glad to see kimi raikonnen made it
Yo wow it’s the memerman
Bruh I love yout memes
Bwoah
I remember my first 100k, granted it was only 10 months ago. I finished in 16h 14min, I ate so much brisket, pancakes, bacon, candy, fruits, PB and J sandwiches, etc. that I think I ended the day with a calorie surplus. My course wasn't quite so hilly as this one, but I'm still proud to have finished it at 17 years old.
I think I can do this in 10 hours
@@Football.izWorld who cares? Nobody asked. Let him share his impressive story and don’t bother us with ur imaginary times.
@Qxms around 60 miles
@@Football.izWorldcap, ultras are way worse then marathons even if you said you ran a 3 or 4 hr marathon
I was one of the runners this year in Yllä-Pallas nuts 100k ultra as well this year, I finished at around 14 hours. I can only imagine how tough it was to fight through those stomach issues and it shows how strong you are as well.
As someone who overcame obesity 3.5 years ago and becoming a tough ultra runner It truly is as you said yourself venturing a journey into oneself and exploring that.
Dude, your videos are always nicely edited. And your stories are so inspiring! I never miss your videos.
Love this! You motivated me to complete my first 22K trail run (1100m elevation) and you have now motivated me to train for a longer race and learn more about my limits. Thank you man!
awesome!!
He earned his “first cookie in the cookie jar” from this event, David Goggins motivation all day
Can't hurt me
Wow! Way to go, Jonne!! What an incredible way to tell this story. Can't wait to see what's next!
Congratulations, Jonne!
That was really impressive. Not only the run itself but how incredibly nice this video is produced and edited!
Awesome Jonne! 💪🤘 what an physical and mental victory! Great footage as alway's and a joy to watch (and learn)
The editing, the effort, you. Just incredible. Keep it up, well done!!!
That's so freaking insane! Great job and well done! Thank you for sharing and inspiring us all
This was just absolutely amazing to watch! Thank you! Not just inspiring as always in your videos but the way you portray the entire story was really entertaining with the multiple point of views etc- thanks for this awesome film! Would watch this over any "normal" film out there... :)) And obviously: Congratulations!! :)) I did my first ultra - half-marathon lately haha Now i know what I'm going to do some day too! :D
Perfectly motivating, as usual! Great job both with runn and video! Keep going!
Commenting so more people can see how great the editing is. Absolutely killer video. Always supporting.
Amazing. I love this film. Seeing you learn about yourself as you finish is incredibly inspiring.
Great job, these types of events are great because you really have to dig deep physically and mentally to finish. I agree with you about how you can look back on it and remember that you were and are capable of pushing through.
RESPECT!!! That concept about the box is so relatable. Great video. Biggest accomplishment. You inspire many.
Congrats Jonne for this performance! An amazing storytelling - love it and the editing is great. Hope to see you at the Freediving base for some future endventures ! 👌
You are a F. genius man. Love your approach to 100 k. Absolutely crazy the editing. Great work!!
Kudos to you! completing a run to this extreme very few people would ever even think about doing!
This is great quality! Nice job capturing all the tough parts as well as the good ones!
Congratulations on the 100k! I've only managed to run 49km in a 24 hour period of time. Unfortunately I have stomach issues when running long distance as well. Huge respect and very inspiration!
WOOOW that was amazing I laughed several times and I couldn’t relate more. What a storytelling btw, amazingly combined videos with great music, special effects and philosophy :)
I loved the way you showed everyone watching every step of the way with the line at the bottom, great video!! I watched the whole thing!
This has to be the best video you’ve ever made on this channel just insanity wow wow wow wow
This reminds me a lot of David Goggins running 100 miles. You’re very inspirational and both of you motivate me to one day run something like this. I’m glad you challenged yourself so hard! It takes a lot of courage and strength to do something like this
Thanks for filming this! It was awesome and reminded me of my last ultra race a few years ago. Looking forward to signing up again!
Great job man. Been watching you for some time now - this was one of my favorite of your videos.
dont be so humble. you did a fantastic first 100k race and you were not destroyed at all. tired, exhausted sure, but still on your feet and going forward. you are a tough cookie.
Your videos are always really inspiring and entertaining. I think this one is the best one so far.
Sweet! So glad this popped up! Coolest ultra video I’ve seen in quite awhile!
Really nice documentary! I'm a subscriber for 6 months now and really enjoyed watching you're video's! Keep on going!
Congratulations on that achievement! Some honest and really well-made story-telling which actually make me want to run an Ultra :)
amazing edit! it was really easy and entertaining to watch, good job on the 100K run! (rly enjoyed the storytelling)
Amazing! I'm so impressed. You killed it, Jonne!
We can learn so much about ourselves and our capabilities through physical and mental hardship.
I've been dealing with a rather unknown disease which has really pushed me to my mental limits. It has been though but the things you learn from it are invaluable. Now that I'm almost cured, I am really hungry for an ultra marathon.
Your story only motivates me more so I want to thank you for that 😄
Stay hungry ✌️
Love the video! I ran an 80k ultra last year. My first ultra. So much of this video is bringing me back to that race. What a great experience.
Thank you!!
This is beautiful! Thank you for documenting and sharing. You have inspired me to commit ❤
Awesome video and story! I’m glad you fought through it to finish!
Awesome setting, I really liked the scenery where you explained what went through your mind. Was like a documentary.
This was a great watch, Jonne! Thanks for sharing
Remarkable work! This really planes a 100K run seed in my heart...
This is so much fun to watch! I love the way you're losing your mind at the last stop :P

I need you to also make an editing masterclass please, and thank you 🙏
Awesome video and footage. You can realy see your commitment
Incredible ! This video can only make everyone trying a ultra in northern country. It's sunny clear from start ro finish ! Incredible video btw🔥
“7 people passed me, because I was taking a dump.” 😂
Thank you for explaining how crazy endurance sports sound😅
The key to winning the marathon is to use your diarrhea defensively: unleash it in the path of your opponents to slow or block their progress, or with the right diet you can use it as an oil slick.
@@arthas640you can also use it as jet propulsion
Man oh man! Super glad to hear your thoughts and learnings from this experience. Big fan and l hope to learn from you and push my limits more by doing a long race sometime next year
Thanks James! Good luck with your training, and be unlazy🤩!!
Wow, this was a great experience and very interesting race, and a lot to learn in every Kilometer: thank you for sharing , It is really inspiring, Comgratulations for your UltraMarathon
Thanks for sharing the details, the struggles. This gives us something dare to dream. Would you post more about before the ultra-run training preparation, and post run recovery?
This is the greatest content I have ever witnessed. Perfect.
Wow the editing the story telling the effects, all perfected 😅😅😅😅
Awesome video mate! And congratulations.
This video is incredibly good. And hilariously put together for such a challenging and inspirational story!!!
thanks a bunch :)
Story telling was top notch! Very important life lessons from you
This was great! An honest (and humorous) look a this strange sport we call ultra running. Best take away of all, find you a train in a race and be their caboose as long as you can!
Came across this fellas UA-cam this week. He's great!!! So funny, and enjoyable!! Keep em coming!! Z
Bruh Ngl this deserves a freaking grammy. This legit had to have taken like a month to put together. Great job, No amazing job my friend!!!
Well done on your first 100K. Love the film. Keep it up. :D
What a video, Man! It motivated me to keep training to run a ultra event someday. Cheers!
You are amazing. Keep up your great work. Just do what your heart desires😁
Hugely entertaining! Thanks!
Hey Jonne, thanks so much for this. So inspiring and motivating. I hope you read this. Greetings from germany!

thanks a lot Chloe!!
Great video and editing mate well done!🤙🏼👌🏼
Thank for sharing. Nice edit too.
New sub here. What a fantastic video! Great insights into the emotions of ultra running. Well done on your 100k achievement :-)
You did the editing very well!
You are such an inspiration ! I'm 19 and can for now only dream about doing something this huge, but seeing you do it just motivates me even more. Because of studies, I can't really focus on training but I can guarantee you that in 2-3 years maybe I'll do my best to follow your path.
For now, I'll keep doing my 4.5 km early morning runs (3-4 times a week) and see what the future brings me.
Good luck for your next projects and what you dream about, thank you for being amazing, thank you for giving me that urge to live the unlazy way !
P.S. If anyone sees this in quite some time, I don't know maybe 6 months, 1 year, 2, 3, don't hesitate to comment under this one so I can get a reminder that I wrote this one day. Thank you !
Edit : spelling...
Awesome, that's the spirit!! Good luck on your journey🤩

It's surprisingly motivating to talk with you, even it's not really a deep conversation, but I mean, I get to see in person how kind you are.
Good evening ! Or maybe good day or something else 😅Don't know in which time zone you are but here in France it's going towards bed time 😆
your videos are so brilliantly edited!
ps. congrats on this incred feat!!
This is amazing! I don't think you realise how inspiring you are, you've inspired me to apply for an Ultra run this year.
Thank you again!
I’m very late but how did the run go?
@@ikxil It went very well thank you, so tough 🙃
I’m planning on doing a 50 miler or 100K in 2024. I honestly can’t wait. Awesome effort and another great video!
Amazing. Thank you for this. Enjoyed it very much. Stay hard!
Liked it even before it started playing, just for the thumbnail alone, and of course the achievement itself. 🤩
