Such a bad idea promoting this online. I don't think the average person interested in this understands the full risk involved. Also offering these is irresponsible. Don't expect a BASE jumper to have safety high on his or her priority list or they wouldn't be jumping at all. This is not skydiving where there's safety margin, ratings and procedures in place.
@@DrDeepstack never a truer word spoken. i watched them trying to set one up at perrine like over ten years ago while i was there. it was the dumbest thing ever
I love the way these videos are shot and edited, and I like the topics. However, I feel like they could be much cooler if we saw more of you in them? At least for me, I find it hard to connect without the actual project owner being present.
Man I miss this so much, jumped only once in tandem and I think about it ever since. Want more money to get back in the sky, the feeling after you've just bounced out of a plane at 4000m is unmatched, everything in life just feels like silly theatrics afterwards, drops your heart-rate as you walk through anything in life.
I found the moment when you roll out of the plane and suddenly look and see the plane flying away from you to be the most surreal thing imaginable. What a rush!!!
@@graffix11us Exactly, the most intense experience of my life was that 0 to 250km+ acceleration when jumping out of the plane, it was the first time in my life where I had that hyperdrive effect like you see in the movies. Your field of view becomes the widest it has ever been and you are all uber confused, and in awe at what you're going through in that moment.
Awesome video, Jonne! For me, exploring these activities and the individuals who make it their lives is such inspiring and interesting content. While training content has its own appeal, I really feel you excel that the kind of content it seems you moved to Norway to make, so much kudos to you and lots of excitement for the future!
I love watching this channel cuz it reminds me of how much cooler other people are than me. Love to see all these adventures, very different perspective.
I would never basejump. I would like to fly a wingsuit e.g. from a balloon or so, but no basejumping. I did paragliding for some years which is fun too. But if you don't live near mountains just takes alot of time (yes, for other people 2hr trainride is near, but not for nearly every weekend when you have other hobbies). If you want to do those sports in a safe way, you just need alot of time.
I love the video man! Great production, I could feel the emotions up there on the top and also the new format is a good choice! Just this so increasing sound of rising emotions - shen played 7th time its got kind of annoying 😅 Great video overall!
i did a paragliding course and jumped at my second day (alone). :D It wasn't that hard, in my opinion if you can ski you can take many of those skills to your paragliding. ;)
You dont jump with a paraglider and he had a speedflywing. You are absolute not able to speedfly without any skydive/paragliding experience. And for sure not with only ski experiences…
1000 Jumps on the first season? Would be 3 Jumps on every single of the 365 days of the year. Without working, sickness, holiday travels, bad weather days and so on.. If you add all that it would be at least 5 Jumps a day for a year straight.. Cmon
Honestly I like to put base jumping in a different category when talking about how dangerous the sport is. Normally skydiving out of a plane like I do is dangerous but is closer in risk to other extreme sports. Base jumping on the other hand makes up MOST of the skydiving accidents because the sport if you call it that is designed around doing more and more stupid and dangerous stuff. Skydiving has rules, training, and a culture of safety around it. Base jumpers are different bread of human with a different tolerance level of death than 99.9% of people.

@TjalledenOuden if you sign up to go base jumping, you know what the risks are. You sign a waiver as well.
@@PunkRock03 i skydived for 10 years before i base jumped and i still didn't know what the risks were

you need that parasocial relationship?

This is crazy :D I had a rush just watching it. Great direction man! Its was super engaging and fun to follow them on their jumps.
I love your content it inspires me so much! Can you do a video on your diet and how it impacts your training and recovery!

Excellent, glad you found it inspiring! It's exactly what I'm aiming for with this format :)
I like the format, i like the countdown and follow some of nick and your perspective. Interesting in a good way to tell the story
Really cool format mate ! Nice to see this kind of content.
Please keep making more videos like these Jonne, love it!! :)
Wow, well done. Your channel is great.
Thank you for uploading. Crazy video!
I love watching this channel cuz it reminds me of how much cooler other people are than me. Love to see all these adventures, very different perspective.
that doesnt make them necessarily cooler than you tbh. As long as you do something that makes you happy, then you are cool enough.
I'm so happy that i have found this channel! Nice video!
Fucking props man. The whole topic, people, cuts, chats, just the whole video. I simply love they are structured.
🤟 thanks!
Toivoin et säki hyppäisit!😂 Hiton hyvä video taas. Kiitos kun teet näin inspiroivaa kontenttia! 👍

Great video, I thought you were going to do a tandem jump at the end lol.
This is seriously next level lol. You really make me ponder the possibility of doing these things myself 🤣
Great work!! Keep it up!
Keep doing this format! So good.
Nick is a positive crazy person and I still would trust him with my whole ❤ that he will keep me safe 😅
I really liked the style of the video, keep it up!
You could kill someone by throwing rocks down the mountain. There was a road and farm houses near. You can never be sure that there’s nobody down.
Always that 1 guy lmao

Lol nice. BASE jumping and skydiving are a blast!
I suffer from vertigo and it was really stressing watching this video. Nick is damn crazy man. But I recognize this is really cool😂
So crazy to see that your doing all this stuff right next to where im living right now (Hardanger Folkehøgskole)

Ah little Nicky Reyes. The ninja who taught me how to tumble out of planes. Good to see him living the dream in Norway!
EGO-Cams on top of a helmet is a great way to hook lines & then you'll have some real interesting video!
I would love to see more Speed flying or Paragliding Videos! Great Content!
I have sky dived (dove?) and bungee jumped but base jumping is a whole nother level of crazy!! It gave me goose bumps just watching 🙂

From the outside that skydivers house looks like a junkie's place ... come to think of it, that's what it is :)
great video again!!!
Neat jumping. Thanks for the entertainment.
No way, nope, never! Cool to watch though so thanks for the video!
You everytime surprise mate. Well done; like the beard, cheers 😊🙏🏻
Cool video bro!
the clip at 15:51 , was that a failed base jump attempt? did he die?
The thumbnail made my day😂
I'm never, ever, ever, going to jump off a cliff. 😬
The deadliest invented sport is battle royale. It is so deadly the idea has never been realised into life.
Let's see what you investigate
Why aren't you pulling the As when inflating the speedwings? T'he wings aren't even up when the point of no return is reached!
I'm skipping my workout today. I've been lying here at 190bpm for the last 20 minutes!
I beg to differ. Catching the javelin is surely more dangerous.
I can invent an even deadlier sport, but I wouldn't make it out alive to show it to you.
That dude has such good energy.
Yep, Nick's awesome!

Whats wrong with playing bingo?
wild wild stuff it is =)
Skydiving is the best thing I've done in my life.
+3500, never had a cutaway or mal. Just be good, :)

Why to risk it with skateboard.
Please don’t throw rocks off cliffs like that, I’m sure you could find the elevation online… you could hit a climber/hiker……
FIRST
And thats why i dont sky dive...2:04 .. 🤣
bro, you always make good content.. but UA-cam messed up your channel algorithm. make a new channel bro
Wait so u are not jumping?
So much nope

Too much click bait lately. The videos are more disappointing than exciting.
Not a very insightful look into a fascinating sport.
I can do that but I don't wanna
