Hi , followed this procedure yesterday and took it for a test ride and sure enough the problem of pulsing through the front brake lever has gone ,I'm very relieved especially when I saw the price of new rotor and bolts !!! Thanks for the video .
I came here on a hunch. I just traded for a 2015 Scrambler yesterday and the front brake feels terrible at slow speeds. Grab/release/grab/release. I've cleaned floating rivets before with brake cleaner, but your trick with a bolt is eveb better. I HOPE mine just needs the rivets cleaned. The next step will be to sand the surface of the rotor and pull the brake pads to deglaze them on my machined slab of granite (that's perfectly flat.) I'll report back with my results.
@@stevieg7403 It made it better, but the effect is still there. I am going to clean it again. I think the rivets from Brembo are just too tight from the factory. I had the same problem with my other 2015 Scrambler if I remember right. I fixed this problem on my Buell by cleaning the rivets like this.
Bit late with the comment here but only just watched this video. Very informative so thank you. Out of curiousity, was the service centre the same as who supplied your lower handlebars?
What year is your bike? I had a 2015 red icon, and I had the pulsing effect on the front brake at only 2000 km's. Then I read online that some other people had the same problem and It was because of some lower grade steel used on the disc at the earlier production bikes. And my bike was one of the first ones delivered when the scrambler first came out. Some people managed to replace their disc under warranty. I couldn't manage that with my dealer here. So if it was all true then your disc may actually be warped or maybe everyone had the similar problem you're talking about here.

That’s excellent news. It’s a simple as that. It just works.👍🏻 good luck let me know.

@@421CentralIowa try re-centring the calliper to the disc, if it still doesn’t fix the issue try a new set of pads.

That’s interesting to know. Mine is a late 2016 model, so it should have been sorted out. I will look into it!! Thanks for that information.
Hmm yeah, it should be sorted out by then. You can check ducatiscramblerforum com, if you didn't already. That's where I read most of the stuff.
