Archbishop Fisher's thunder must have been stolen by what was happening on the continent: 8 days since the encirclement of Berlin by the Soviets, 4 days since Hitler's birthday celebration and final briefing. Mussolini would die 4 days after this and Hitler 6 days.
I was surprised to hear the sound of church bells in this clip. I thought bells were not allowed during WWII before VE Day (two weeks later). It turns out that this ban ended on Easter Sunday 1943 (April 25).
Interesting. Wikipedia says he was the 99th Archbishop of Canterbury. I wonder with whom they started counting, or what accounts for the discrepancy.
