Just got the ventus black on my driver (ping g430 lst) when i tell u the fujikara shaft is a game changer. Man, the stability along with the weight is such a dangerous combo. A+
I figured out why Brad is such a good fit. He has the demeanor and presence of Arnie and the game like Jack. Just a damn good dude wherever he is. If you you go back and watch, he even managed to not show (kind of) emotions around the GG Athlete that’s personality just grated on everyone’s nerves. God puts Good Good people in your way for a reason.
@paulhult42 I swear theres actually nothing better than a perfect ribeye. also great comparison (analogy? simile? metaphor? im too dumb to identify what the correct term is).
I sometimes take for granted how often GM is dropping. I know a lot of people say if they golfed for a living they would golf every day and drop 3-5 videos a week, but with good good weeks, and all the shit I bet he has going on, this man is as consistent as it gets
Love all your videos. Please give an “old guy” a chance to take you down. We all know UA-cam golfers, pros, ex-pros and some celebrities are really good. It’s time for old guys take the young guys down😮😂😂😂 I’m waiting for your call😃 Keep up the great job!
Nothing like the feeling of pulling your ball outta the cut from distance. I holes a 115yard shot with my 50* at the end of last summer for an eagle 2 but I didn't get to watch it happen it was onto a blind green. It landed exactly where I wanted from what I could tell but you can only see the front edge. The green runs away from you so when we got to the green I thought it might of rolled off the back but when I walked up and was looking over the back edge I didn't see anything and my buddy was like it went In the hole didn't it and I walked up and yanked the pin and out popped my ball.
How much time do you spend on fittings trying different set ups? You mentioned trying them on the range and loved them, but I assume you still had a fitting to verify what you felt.
@@aaron_jordaan They should do a whole trip going around south africa like pretoria cape town and thos places. But if they only go to one place i think it should be fancourt because it has three courses(if they can play on the links) and alot of courses around fancourt too🤷🏼♂️
Pinnacle point, George, Royal Cape, Stellenbosch, Metropolotin... So much unique options and not even mentioned all the nice courses in the rest of the country
Currently I only have graphite shafts in driver/2iron/5wood and in hindsight, those are my favourite feeling clubs. I'm tempted to try graphite in everything.
128 mph speed whew hoo ,I never played until I was near 44 after playing Ball and had 119 Club Head Speed at Golf Galaxy ,67 now and 5 shoulder Surgeries later !
I absolutely love you as a person and the rest of goodgood but you all get new clubs more than I change my golf ball. If got 20 year old irons and a 18 year old driver that goes as far as my 5 year old 3 wood. Am not jealous honestly 😜
I’ve never owned expensive golf clubs. Would you say top of the line clubs have more “pop” in them? Maybe similar to a $100 baseball bat to a $400 composite bat? I’m just curious if the price is worth the extra yardage?
I just went from a set of mid-2000’s Cobra irons to a set of Callaway Rogue Max OS’s (a ~2 year old set from brand new), and they play way longer for me. I’ve had to totally re-hone all my distances it’s so severe. Like I used to hit my 9 iron 145-ish if I was swinging smooth, with the new 9 iron I have, if I go after one it can fly 160-ish, sometimes more. Modern irons have so much technology bottled up in the clubface. I waited as long as possible to get a new set since I only play on the course 3-4 times a month and hit at the range 2-3 times a week, but I honestly wish I did sooner. Helped my game a ton
For the most part, no, especially in irons. A lot more nuance to "more expensive = farther". Newer/more expensive clubs of the same type of club don't have more pop/distance in them purely just from it being newer. It's largely influenced by loft/shaft, and a bit of face technology in Game Improvement/Super Game Improvement clubs can optimize launch for better consistent distances. A massive issue with new irons nowadays is loft jacking to make it seem like irons "go further". Callaway's Paradym X 7 Iron is literally just a 5 iron specs with the number "7" printed onto it. It's all marketing to make amateur's think that these new clubs are making them hit the ball 15-20 yards further, when in reality, they're just hitting more club. As long as the club is made decently well and there are no defects, and the loft/shaft/head profile are the same, a $20 used players 7 iron from 2007, a $70 Takomo 7 iron, $200 Callaway 7 Iron, and a $350 7 Miura iron will all go an identical distance. Most tour players play blades/cavity back players irons, which the technology and design is basically identical to as it was 20+ years ago. Tiger's Taylormade P7TW's are pretty much just slightly tweaked recreations of his 2000s Nike/Titleist blades. Woods have more of a bit more of a technological advantage from newer/more expensive, better forgiveness, and modern shafts are very important. Anything from the 2010's is going to be as long as today's drivers/woods.
In my opinion, the distance comes with your swing, not the club, although newer clubs would probably help a little. The biggest difference is what you can do with the ball and the shafts. I think it is always worth to get fitted if you're going to spend a lot on a set of irons, but you definitely don't need the most expensive set of heads.
Brad being in every video makes me so happy; we all need a friend like Brad

Oh my Brad, what!? 🔥

The hole out was sick. But his fairway bunker shot was just unreal.
It want all spin, the green is soloed from back to front and left to right in the front. Definitely some spin but the slopes added even more
