Whewww. I was looking for this video. Thought you took it down. I need some for the winter. I did one in grey and I get soooo many compliments on it. Thanks for sharing.
love the crochango cap tutorial but I missed the last part where you do the brim. I love it... I searched for the written instructions have had no luck. thank you so very much. I am a newbie. look forward to watching more and learning.
So I finally gave the Crochango a try and got to row 47 and decided I was making a bowl..... then came the elastic and I had a revelation.... HA HA HA HA joke was on me loving my CHROCHANGO!!!! Thanks OVW!!!!
Hi I made a few of this hat done by some one else. I still wanted to see your video and I must say, I do like the elastic. This is a very nice hat. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you for sharing this pattern! I was asked to make 3 of these, but I used a thinner thread and had to readjust the number of stitches. A pattern for this kind of beret is hard to find, you usually get Italian and French berets easier... So thank you!!! 😘😘😘
Used an I hook so mine came out a lil smaller as I wanted it for a child. Got nervous at the end when there was no info on the brim but remembered you did the brim on your other tutorial so I was able to finish. Thanks for sharing!
Really like this!! You just finished up to fast I have never made a brim before would like t know how to do this?? Do you have any other tutorial just on this brim. does every brim work the same way?
When you say this is how the crochango should look? You forgot to insert the picture. Just letting you know in case you want to update the video or edit it a bit with UA-cam's awesome video editing magic!!!!
I absolutely love how you have constructed this hat. It is far better than similar patterns out there. I have made this in different t sizes for adults. Everyone loves their caps!! Can you please do an updated pattern for babies? I want to do a matching set for daddy and son. I’ve tried going down hook sizes and yarn, but the measurements are still too big for little ones. Thanks.
Hi I love all the crochet work you be doing I have crochet some of the items you have done. You really good in instructions on your projects. I want to know if you have a pattern for a Newsboy hat? If so where can I find it please thank you in advance. God bless you for all the work you do you have blessed hands and keep up the great work.
I was making this along with the video, and everyone went well until I got to the brim! 😊 Where are the instructions for doing the brim? Are they in a separate video? Thanks😊
Marcelle, I'm gonna try my hand again with your pattern but I have a question, if i don't use electric at the end, are all the stitches and rows still the same, for some reason my hate comes out really big.
@@OVW should we reduce if we don't use elastic? Do you know approximately about by how much? I guess I'm not seeing it well, is the elastic all the way around?
Wonderful video tutorial! Wondering how to make it smaller, for a toddler? Like 15-16' or so.... just a smaller hook and yarn? Thank YOU, again, for your talent, time and generosity:)
Hi Marcelle I went to your Ravelry page looking for the written pattern and it was unavailable. Do you no longer have it for free? If not can you send me the link where I can purchase the pattern? thanks
Hi I absolutely love this hat. I’m lost at the brim tho. You said it’s 17 stitches but t how many rows did though make or is it a matter of taste? Also how tight do you need the elastic to be ? Plz help I can’t wait to start this thanx
Hey OVW, I don't know if you are aware but your picture of the Crochango did not show up. Please redo so we will know just what it should look like. Luv your creations.

wow... thank you for this... I've never done a brim before. Is there a tutorial for this brim... thanks.. Love you.. ~Lady Duchess, blessing of health and wellness..
I love the tutorial but its really hard to find. I had to go through a link from someone elses channel. I look on ravelry but i do not see the written instructions. Are they posted elsewhere?
onevirtuouswoman thank you because I was like oooollll I don’t know how to do the brim part lol thank you so much again Peace and Blessings I’m so excited now ❤️
Why didn't you demonstrate how to make the brim? The instructions for row 2 says BLO, but you don't indicate whether to do the whole brim that way. I would also like to see how you are working the sides of the brim using the hdc and sl sts. Do you have another video showing these instructions. If not can you make the instructions more clear?
Tutorial Tuesday I think its 27 the striped hat I do the brim there just fast forward thru the hat part. and it just the 2nd row of the brim that is BLO
This video is very hard to find. I saw a boy w/the hat in a video and asked him for the video and he gave me a bogus link. I accidentally stumped into it. I'm glad i found it cause my nephew is driving me nuts about a hat like this and yours is the only one that i like. It would be nice if you edit the name of the video and the changes you made.

I might go up in hook size or double strand to make one for my brother (who likes this hat style) and put in a magnetic snap in the front.
So I finally gave the Crochango a try and got to row 47 and decided I was making a bowl..... then came the elastic and I had a revelation.... HA HA HA HA joke was on me loving my CHROCHANGO!!!! Thanks OVW!!!!
Lovely hat, but the brim was sped up? did you use two strands of yarn & is it just sc over & back, how many rows??? just hard to see ❤
Beautiful hat, great tutorial! Thanks for sharing!!!

Hi Marcelle, could you tell me how I could modify your pattern to fit a infant. Than You.

if you use the red heart 100% acrylic yarn how many rows would i have to do? and why i have to use two strand to start with?
Two strand of tarn is for the last row and the brim that's it. You use one strand for the actually cap.
+onevirtuouswoman thanks sooo much and i love all your video's
Is this pattern for babies 6-12months?
No but try using this pattern using a 4.0 hook it may work.
you should try to crochet a fedora! That would be sooo cool.
Sure try using a f hook
When it came to doing the sides it was too confusing to continue...maybe you should have done this when you really had time and was warm....Thank you
