Trains are operated on the Oregon Pacific Railroad and depart from Oaks Park Station adjacent to Oaks Park in southeast Portland. I hope Spokane Portland & Seattle 700 is back in operation soon. It’s another 4-8-4, along with Southern Pacific 4449 that I want to see in operation.

I've never seen a working steam engine before. That is just cool times ten. Wow! Really neat to see and hear. I'm planning to move from AZ up to the NW, and likely the Portland area, so this is really neat to know about being in the area.
