I appreciate back to basics! Even though it’s not my favourite format normally, I like to do back to basics workouts when I’m recovering from an injury (so there’s less to focus on) or adjusting to heavier weights. And having them thrown in to the monthly calendars means an opportunity to check my form and make sure I’m doing things right in the other formats!

I love the back to basics because it focuses on one move and I can use heavier dumbbells. And the format you use moves quickly and you add a different variation which is fun.

Great workout. I loved the oldie but goodie kinda stuff. I still got a workout in and didn’t have to spend any extra time figuring out how to do the exercises. I like when you do new stuff and basic stuff.

Really enjoyed this workout. Usually I struggle with side planks and going back and forth instead of holding them forever I actually nailed it today. I was so pleased with myself. And I loved the different times and slight adjustments to make the basics a little different.

great workout. I loved that each move was paired with the right weights, as opposed to some compound moves where the right weight for part of the move is too heavy/light for the other part of the move. Only suggestion: can you show a more challenging version of, or substitute for, dead bugs?
