Nice review Mike. I test drove an Edge SEL and an Edge ST. Both very nice vehicles. When I priced out the ST with all the options it was around $56K! Although the 2.7 L made it very tempting to get I just could not justify paying that much. The SEL at around 45K was better but when I compared it to the Tucson Limited that I have now that had more features and it was a better deal overall at around $39K. Too bad the Edge will not be offered after 2024 so Ford can concentrate on making EVs which I think is a mistake!
The Edge is not in the same segment as the Tucson. The Tucson is a direct competitor to the Ford Escape. That being said, great pick with the Tucson, amazing convenience features for the price and modern interior design.
@@emarte I think both Tucson/Edge can compete against each other as they both are similar in interior cargo/passenger volume. As far as the Escape being a competitor I think the Tucson overall is a better vehicle and feature wise is a better value.
A very nice-looking vehicle. The price of $44,850 dollars is at the top of what I would pay for this car. Like the electrically operated rear seats. Thank you for the review, Mike.
Some years ago I remember Ford Edge having a great comfortable seat with very nice bottom support but the new ones I was shocked how it didn't have much of bottom support. That usually leads to bad back pain at least for me.

Instrument cluster is 10+ years old, on a 45K car. That's a joke. Should of had the 2.3L engine.
Yes. Ford forgot all about this vehicle and that is why sales are low and it is being discontinued after MY 2024 😢
Kia and the Hundai are less money but why not compare it to a vehicle like Ford Edge.
