Man, this is an excellent review! Thank you for this. I bought a 2021 Ford Edge SEL back in February (I don't believe 22's were on the lot when I shopped at the time), and I love it! Watched your review, because I was curious about your thoughts around it. Just a really detailed review. Nicely done!
Just got a '22 Edge SEL last wk. Was lucky to find a '22 & got a nice rebate on top! Cross shopped many other SUVs. The total package of Edge can't be beat. Gen2 - 2.0L TGDI is excellent & class leading paired to excellent smooth 8spd. The features are hard to beat w/ 12in touchscreen/AWD standard & proven platform.

I just bought a Ford Edge SEL I had a 2020 Fusion, which I loved. I think I will be happy with my Edge SEL. I have learned that there is a blind spot in the front on the side of the front windshield I think it's called the pillars. That can be dangerous. Ford needs to do something about that.
Best midsized SUV in the class! No major blindspot concerns. Enjoy.
Hey I just got this exact same car (year, trim, package & colors). Love it, feels new even if it's a 2022 and it has 22k miles. Every bit of a $45k car for $27k used. As a responsible person who doesn't spend much income on cars, I feel rich!

The problem with me buying a new car or used with no bumps or scratched, is someone always ends up hitting me within the next month to two months afterward, and so I always end up driving a car that has has a damage, and no one bothers me or crashes into me for years afterward until I buy a new or used car, NEVER FAILS!
same thing happened with my tundra. one month in - huge scratch on side door. then. nothing. for 2 years besides minor chips here and there.

Don't worry bout that stuff! Buy a new Edge & enjoy life. AWD standard & fantastic proven Gen2 TGDI engine. Grabbed a '22 Edge SEL last wk for family & love it. Home run Ford!
@David same here I bought an Edge SEL last month and loving it.
They will continue to build the Edge into early '24 now due to demand. Btw, those are 19" wheels w/the sport appearance package! *It's always been a popular SUV for good reason. They needed plant capacity for new upcoming EVs.. hence why it's going away after early -mid '24* .
The sports appearance package comes equipped with 18’s. Check Ford’s configurator

Real shame that this great crossover is not going to be in production after 2023.
I agree it is a shame that FMC is discontinuing this vehicle and not replacing it with anything comprable. Now I may leave the Ford family and check out the Buick or the Equinox. Which means General Motors 😢

Great review! Bought a 2022 Edge Titanium and I am quite impressed with it. The power is enough for my needs and the space is great as well. I had ordered a 2022 Bronco but no idea when it's coming so I have the Edge in the meantime.

@@moaizkhan I was thinking about doing a video on it. It's been awesome. Had a couple issues with the subwoofer and wind noise but both are getting fixed under warranty. The subwoofer already fixed and the wind noise has a TSB out for it. It's going in on Thursday for repair. Other than that it's an amazing vehicle! I have the 2.7 V6 ecoboost. I highly recommend it. The power is there when you need it. The ride is great too. I had a jeep years ago and this thing is tons better.
@Clint Kniss Nice. Edge & Bronco are both excellent vehicles. Run a good "full synthetic" engine oil in both vehicles ..they will last 200k+ mis easily.
I didn’t like driving the Edge. The engine felt jittery like driving a standard vehicle. Didn’t like controlling the temperature on the touch screen monitor, felt unsafe taking my eyes off the road while driving. The auto stop/start was annoying. The wipers seemed foreign when in use. Was not a fan of the rotary dial. I did like the heated steering wheel, wireless apple carplay, cap less gas pump, storage above the dash was nice to place my winter gloves.
You can turn the auto stop off.
Yes, I hate mine, call it a death trap to drive, the temp thing is terrible

Ford is actively designing & engineering new ICE vehicles unlike many other automakers! Gen7 '24 Mustang comin while Camaro & Charger is GONE. Trucks getting updated V8s too. Ford knows its customers ! I love Ford too & Edge is excellent. Get one while ya can. AWD standard!

Looks like there is NO auto brake hold, by what I see on the shifter console area. Darn.

Who the hell is a guy that is 5,5 ?? So basically this is a suv for a short family . If your over 5,11 it probably won’t be comfortable.
I am 5 feet 7 inches. So I guess this will be comfortable for me.

I have a 2022 Edge, worst pos car I've ever owned, the touch screen is a dangerous death trap to use . the center console stick up and the sharp edge hurts your leg, a terrible car to drive
