These video courses are a unique resource for adapting Indian Classical Music to the guitar. The knowledge I am able to present here is largely thanks to my Gurus Roopa Panesar and Shakir Khan who both play sitar. They have provided much of the raw material and I have used my experience as a guitarist, teacher and sitar student to develop the techniques and stylistic choices to suit this beautiful and powerful style of playing.

Thanks a lot for posting this. I will try to incorporate this into my flute practice. I am practicing flute for couple of years now but not enough development. Hopefully it will increase the efficiency of people like me.
Once again thank you very much.
You are very welcome 🙏
Very good exercises Jack.
Thank you 😊
Also, where we can find this exercises?
The main one is a very simple pattern of three. I teach it in detail on the Academy courses, but the basic sargam is as follows:
S R S, R G R, G M G, M P M, P D P, D N D, N S N, S R S,
The pattern of four was:
S R G R, R G M G, G M P M, M P D P, P D N D, D N S N, N S R S,
This is just the starting point, but I hope that helps 🙏 🙂 🎶
@@JackJenningsGuitarist thank you very much. I can move it to different Ragas from here I guess.
