For example, marriage is a protection and intimate relations are part of marriage; no one is allowed to say when a couple is too old. If what he said is true, please give references from Qur'an and/or Sunnah.

And women of post-menstrual age who have no desire for marriage - there is no blame upon them for putting aside their outer garments [but] not displaying adornment. But to modestly refrain [from that] is better for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

Allah says in the post menstrual age who have no more desire for mariage (NO SEX)..
