Thanks for the quality product. In the future I would like to upgrade to your ramhorn manifold. Does that mani put the turbo in the same spot? so i can use the downpipe I already have welded to my exhaust
@@maxherman4174 the downpipe will change w/ manifold design. The a/c ramhorn or the RR manifold will be the closest in placement; but both will require modification to the downpipe or a new downpipe to suit.
Yea he custom makes each kit to order by hand. Pretty special if you think about it, well worth the wait. I actually ended up getting mine a couple weeks earlier than he said i would, so he probably gives himself some wiggle room just incase
@@maxherman4174 nice. At 300 wheel hp you don't really need to be concerned with valve train mods. Your turbo equipment is top of the line! Great fitment and quality. Lots of potential for much more power can be had at a later date👍 500 to 550 is very doable. After that traction starts to become very problematic. Great video.
You can go to GO-AUTOWORKS.com and look at the prices for the kits. But like i said youll need engine management fuel pump and injectors too. If your good at resourcing parts and have the equipment to fabricate you can piece together a kit for pretty cheap. I e seen guys do it for less than $2,000. Id say no less than $2,000 no more than $5,000 for everything
@@maxherman4174 I'd try to get a electric water pump for the turbo and find an electric oil pump that is on a temperature sensor so it stays on after the engine is off. just a thought idk how much it would cost
bob thompson goautoworks set up this kit really well for cooling, the turbo is tied into the factory cooling system and works great. My temps stay well within the limits even with the intercooler blocking the radiator, only need the fan when im in traffic and temps never go higher than 197 F. As far as post shut down cooling, im told that with a water cooled turbo there is no need for a turbo timer or switched oil pump since the water in the lines dissipates the heat just as well if not better
@@bobthompson4319 what the benefits of running pumps after the car is off ? I'm new to this myself so just doing the research on a turbo build pros and cons
Its usually $300 for a dyno and street tune but If you truly want to be happy with the way your car runs and drives than you have to learn to tune yourself. Thats what i did
Haven’t put it on the dyno yet but according to virtual dyno(which has been proven to be pretty accurate if you use it right) it made 260whp on 6 psi and just over 300whp on 12 psi.
cant wait to see this finished and running
Just have to find time to edit the video, should be up next week. Thanks for your support
Welcome back
Thanks
Great work on the vid and thanks for the order

Ordered my kit and gonna take 7-9 weeks. Damn bro I can’t wait lol

I think you forgot to mention needing a 3 bar MAP sensor as well.
True
What exhaust valves did you use and dual valve springs to counter act the boost pressures? What valve spring seat pressure did you go with?
GSR comes stock with dual valve springs on the intake side. Everything is stock. Just arp head studs. Still pulling strong at 300whp no issues.

Nice video!
I own a 1995 Acura integra gsr and i plan on adding a turbo. What does it cost approximately to do it?

Thanks guy's
