This episode focuses on wrapping up the remaining content in central Limgrave, including the Deathtouched Catacombs & Highroad Cave along with some night time field bosses. The main item of importance this episode is the Duelist's Furled Finger.
Next episode may be a good time to run through the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel; easy boss that gives you the Bell Bearing to buy Smithing Stones 1 & 2, and has a bunch of Smithing Stones 3 in the dungeon. I went there after this episode and it was really helpful.

I don’t know about anybody else but I’m honestly stunned at how you’ve managed to put together such a complete and comprehensive guide so quickly after the games launch. Not only that but to help us get all trophies/achievements. it’s mad but I absolutely love it, sincere thank you for putting in the time to help so many of us.
It’s unreal. I wonder how he even gets sleep. And they’re the best on the internet. Every other walkthrough I’ve tried was garbage and had the preconceived notion that we have all played previous souls titles. & dude got me crushing bosses rn.
@@dhdixjrnedndjd9672 I'm more surprised that he's able to make these comprehensive guides whilst also trying to raise and spend time with his kid. Cowboy's a champ through and through
I have never needed a walkthrough in my whole life of gamming! But I have to admit that I am very happy that you're out here doing these. I do not feel defeated just by game mechanics, and discovery any more! Thank you!!
Literally my first game of this kind ever. Hopped in and was ready to uninstall within 30minutes of being killed by everything that moved. I came from destiny and thought this would be similar (Wrong as hell!) Diddnt know what to do or where to go. Your walkthroughs give me structure in all this chaos. The story mode I needed 😭. I’m basically following your every move and decision.
I followed everyone's advice (including the game's director and Cowboy) to do a blind playthrough. After 8 hours, still wasn't having much fun. I like this concept of having to find things by yourself, but it's definitely not for everyone, specially when you don't have much time. I'm having much more fun now with the guide.
@@RafaelBelvederese same boat. I wanted to do a blind playthrough but all I ended up doing was running around Limgrave picking up golden runes and not getting anywhere. I like to use these walkthroughs to get my legs under me first, venture out on my own, then come cowering back when I need it. 😂
Dark souls 3 was my first “souls like” game, I was the same as you, ready to give up after barely scratching the surface, I stumbled across fightingcowboys walkthroughs and the games completely opened up to me and became manageable. The souls genre has now become my favourite games to play sinking years into the pvp side of the game. Stick with the walkthroughs and I guarantee you will become completely addicted, good luck.
Better that than infinite frustration and not experiencing what you paid for in Elden Ring to see the depth of what the developers have done in such a short time for such a huge world. It would be like going on vacation and being ambushed at the airport. Games are no longer just games but stories, experiences and interactions to be involved with and the degree of "gamer" one is, gives rise to the amount you want to be guided. Same as tour guides. You might know the country and you might not. Sure you could discover e.g. Peru on your own or if you have only one week, let someone who knows the game of Peru take you through it and show you what is there. Second time around, go and fight the good fight. That is the justification behind game walkthroughs on SOME games.
@@fwagner9 this was pretty much my experience too. Spent the first week and a half running around unlocking the map, collecting sites of grace, and getting murdered, but not actually being able to fight any bosses and progress the story. Now I have more firm footing and understanding of what to do and how to improve my character. Wish I discovered this earlier tho since i already ended up missing out on a bunch of character interactions due to my exploits 😂
The knight riding horseback he ignores at 11:49 gives you a holy Ash of War called Golden Vow. Also at 18:55 to the left of the cave is a dead body with the Lance Tailsman.
@@legendaryseph9406 if you are looking at the entrance of the cave from the outside it is going to be on your right hand side. You will see a bunch of fallen statures (like the giants that come to life) which there will be one of those giants that come to life. Around it you will see a corpse sitting upright and there you will get the Lance talisman
Tip for crucible knight: DON’T dodge roll backwards! His attacks are designed to catch you backing up. If you pay attention, he’s basically an “intro” to Godfrey fight… you want to dodge AT or around him and try to stay close. You’re actually safer close up than far away where you’ll most likely misjudge his capable range.
@@varietynews3512 I mean you don’t need to know what you’re talking about and just semi cheese him with BHF step… but if you actually want to get good at fighting crucible knights(no hits etc) you need to be chest to chest with them, it’s much safer to limit their move set capabilities. You’re going to face many more in the game, so it’s important to get them mastered early so you’re not struggling the whole game.
I LOVE THESE. HOWEVEr, Cowboy flashes the map for a second on where we are going. He knows where he is going, I do not. I end up pausing and rewinding a couple times to see precisely where we are going. The video is for those who don’t know, and each item should be at the IDK pace. Other than the map pause…these are amazing!!!!!
You can slow down the play speed in the UA-cam settings that helps a lot. but I understand why he does it. he is saving everyone and himself time which is understandable this is already a great amount of work to do such detailed walkthroughs. so just the fact you have to pause should mean nothing for all the content you are receiving for free! and with great detail.
It would be helpful if you slow down a little when opening/closing the map in the videos. You move through the open-world so quickly that it is easy for viewers to lose their sense of place. A 1.5 second flash of the map isn't always helpful to viewers in orientation. Just pausing for a few seconds when you open the map would be super helpful. Thank you for the content.
There's a pause button on UA-cam. Press the play button and it will pause. If you have trouble with anything else let me know and I'll see what I can do. All the best :)
Put your playback speed down to 0.5x. This will be in the upper right hand corner of any video you watch here on UA-cam. It's funny to listen to people talk slow and it's a plus to gaming and it helps me all the time.
I've never played a souls game or something like this, so I wouldn't have known what to do without your walkthrough, I have just been doing what you do and idk how I woulda done this without your help, thanks for making videos like these.
I love coming back here to see if I missed anything and was surprised to see I missed TWO dungeons despite thinking I had thoroughly explored everything! Thanks Cowboy!!
Yessss! Can’t wait to follow this. I’ve already taken down Godrick but these vids help me so much and usually find it easier going back to areas I have missed items/caves/enemies. Thanks again dude
I found what helped me with the crucible knight is : there’s a big boulder/ rock on the left side of the arena. Circling around it slows him down and gives you room to breathe. Just attack him when your ready. He’s very fast and closes the distance towards you quick, but that rock will help you keep him at a distance. Just keep the fight in that area..
This is the first time that I'm going along your guide with my game in real time and it's fun, like waiting eagerly for the next video and stuff, before I got to your guides when they were done. So thanks for everything 🙌🏾
I'm late to this party - but thanks dude! I'm a full-time mom, so these days my time for video games is limited. Playing along makes it reasonable for me to just go through and mostly experience the game without drowning in the sheer size of it :D
You have the best walk through of any platforming and games not only because the way you set us up for success and we can drop off and fo anything after that. I'm just throughly impressed. I do vocal lessons and these days I personally love the diversity of what there is on the internet. Thanks man. I got to stormveil I actually had 50 percent of the game complete but all my Data got wiped. You literally got me to where I was and beyond in a month than 2 and half months of game play. Now I'm ready for godrick the grafted. Thank you dude.
Cowboy you killing me with one upload a day man! I love your channel and all the content. There has not been one souls game that I have not watched you walkthrough. Your channel is always the most imformative and complete. Keep up the good work.
@@IvanRubin take the lessons you learn from cowboys advice and just go out there on your own exploring! It’s super gratifying to take on a new dungeon or boss without knowing what the challenge or the reward will be until you tackle it. Cowboys walkthroughs are great but I think the game is more immersive if you take things into your own hands and make your own adventure! Just take Cowboys walkthrough as an example of how to go about tackling things in this world. Im 70 hours in and haven’t gotten to the second boss yet. This game is amazing.
@@joshmay2944 I just noticed without cowboys walkthroughs I Normally don’t get really far or get stuck or use an item I shouldn’t have or don’t know what most items are for. I love this game so much. I’m about 30 hours in of my initial play through and can’t wait to start over following all of these. I have serious fomo of areas I know I’ve missed
I pretty much gave up on Elden ring and uninstalled it multiple times until I saw this walkthrough. Now it’s one of my favorite games of all time. Couldn’t have done it without your help. Thanks man.
Gotta agree with everybody here, been looking thru a bunch of ‘walkthroughs’ but none was a comprehensive as yours. Finally being able to ‘enjoy’ Elden Ring thus far. THANK YOU
Maybe something not many have said before, but I spent 70 hours plus in this game before I found your walkthrough. I discovered almost nothing in that time. And it was a lonely, confusing progression, in which I eventually just rune farmed for lack of anything else to do and became an over leveled under skilled mage. Now, im Having a blast with a dex samurai and following your every move! Thank you so much for this content! Really amazing stuff and having you along for the journey makes it a less lonely journey as well, for those Of us who do not play with others.
i love that you don't edit out your failures LOL it's honestly really awesome and gives me confidence in my run thru to see someone experienced fail every once and a while
First off I love the content. My first DS game was DSIII and was not used to such an open world play, so this guide has been extremely helpful. Second, I don't know if this is going to be gotten too later, but there is a Godrick Knight on a horse above the top of the cliff above Deathtouched ruins. When I killed him he dropped the Ash of War: Golden Vow, for anyone that is interested.
Great walk through Cowboy. The Crucible knight has been the hardest boss for me so far and I've beaten Godrick, Renalla, 2 of the dragons and all of the evergaol bosses I've found so far. About 50 hrs in and I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface. This game is immense. Edit. I thought I was being thorough but I totally missed the high road cave and deathbird lol this game man...
Yeah and after defeating him, seeing another crucible again in the side of Stormveil castle depressed me, I was like “No, No, Please no, anyone but him, please no!😢
First off i just want to say how awesome it is that you make these. I understand it must take a long time to research the best routes and all the collectables. It makes the game much less overwhelming. I did want to point out that the hammer talisman has a glitch that has affected a multitude of players. The invasion will not start and restarting the game or just leaving the area will not fix it. The only way i've seen it resolved is by a new game. I personally am not trying to 100% the game on my first run. However for those that do. It might be worth finding out whats causing it to avoid your followers from experiencing that glitch. Like i said im not trying to 100% rn so im more than satisfied with the content you have already uploaded. Thank you for all the help!
hey really enjoying this series so far....following as im playing, just wanted to say around the 11:42 mark if you fight that enemy on the hoarse you will get an ash of war. thanks again for the help
These walk through videos are TOP tier man, this is my first FROM software game so I would be lost without them lol. Keep it up! Milly subs incoming and you deserve every single one of em!
THANK YOU, your guide has helped me enjoy the game besides getting frustrated and quit! Seriously love the game and couldn't do it without your walk through series
Hi Cowboy, I just wanted to thank you so much for this absolutley amazing well put together walkthrough. With all your tipps and tricks its been such a fun ride so far and I really always look forward to gaming time in the day. I really appreciate it and with the game having so much content I don't even know how you managed to put it all together into a wonderful walkthrough. God bless and have an awesome day.
Been following this series with my playthrough, you're awesome bro. First time messing with this kind of game so having this amount of direction and understanding early on is insane. I wait eagerly for your uploads hahaha - hoping you continue this series, you're a legend.
I respect you a thousand times over for presenting this professional walkthrough for people who don't understand this game... you should have gotten paid for this LOL.. this game is extremely confusing it has no Direction in telling people where to go to next? Your commentary on UA-cam is a million times better than instruction manual book
God, I barely managed to kill the crucible knight after what felt like 10+ attempts. The only way that I was gonna be able to hit it consistently (since I was using the greatsword), was parrying. And parry I did. Every single attack, over and over. My hands are still shaking, Jesus Christ.
28:40 i defeat the bird riding the horse, its way easier. Really took me by surprise. Normally I follow the markers you put on the map but I try to find out for myself what is there. The moment the giant bird appeared I was on the "horse", I started to spin around it and the bird couldn't hit me once. EDIT: I started following this tutorial when I was at lvl 25, I feel like I was playing the whole time blindfolded. I think I died about 200 times. Now I'm a killing machine lol. I killed crucible knight in only 7 attempts... it would have been impossible for me to do it before this guide. Thanks
I was forced to find a walkthrough when i tried facing all those fools you mention at 9:30 lmao. so glad i found you, you've been carrying me through my first souls experience. I love this game so far knowing i can compete.
I told myself I was gonna clear everything by scouring the map in grids... After watching your vids, I see off-to-the-side areas I completely overlooked. I can't go back to the Skyrim days where I had time to burn, so thanks for the thorough walkthroughs that get straight to the point.
I know you mentioned taking like two weeks off to play this game, but it is still VERY impressive how quickly you get these guides out and the content. Nonstop grind for sure
12:40 Beast Crest Heater Shield in a chest in that camp, to my knowledge it's the earliest free 100 physical block shield for classes that don't start with one.
There is also a boss at night called "Bell bearing hunter" and you can find him in Warmaster's Shack. Do you know about it Cowboy? Thanks for the daily great content
@@trevorrichardson1977 STRONGER?? HE GETS STRONGER?? That guy has handed my ass to me more than anything else to this point (with the exception of me trying to swipe at eagles and falling to my death while riding Torrent)
You can lure him to the hill where you fight Deathbird, and summon your skeletons (or whichever summons you like) to help you. I can say that my +4 skeletons took huge chunks out of him while I was laying into him with spells.
Thank you so much for the walkthroughs. Gotta say I was on the fence about deleting Elden Ring. These videos definitely helped me to better understand the game and I having so much fun with it now.
The invader at the coliseum doesn't spawn for a lot of people for some reason so we can't get the talisman. Idk if it's a bug or what but they gotta fix it
Just started playing this game and watching every single walkthrough and got to say it helps me enjoy this game a lot more because I don’t play souls like games often. great walkthroughs!
I got the knight on the second try with my level 40 mage. His great shield makes it a very tough fight for casters 🫤 I’m very surprised I got it second try.
Without this guy, I cannot finish Bloodborne!! Not only informative content, but also entertaining at the same time! Gonna wait for the full walkthrough!!
Was able to defeat the boss at Stormhill Evergaol, I used the bloodhound finesse with the follow up move twice and got a lot of damage. From there I just used light melee. Honestly seemed like the death bird was more difficult but I may have just got lucky.
If you have your weapon leveled up the two handed charged attacks are truly gold. I was struggling first play through with no guide and now I’m like wow this game is fun and a masterpiece!
Cheesy way to beat him: he has like 3 or 4 comboes, the with 3 attacks use q weapon art for the bloodfang quality weapon at the end of third move and rinse repeat. but might take a while
For future reference and future walkthroughs, i think its great that you always start out the video with opening the map and letting us know where you are which you been doing so kudos for that
I been following your walkthrough. There is another night boss fight by the war shack. Went up there after killing 2nd jail boss the one you were trying to kill in last few mins of this vid. Also right before you went into the lower hafe of the map i found a club before you cross the bridge on the right side of the river bank area.
Just wanted to pop in and say that Im using this walkthrough currently. I can never kill Crucies myself. Ive always had to ask the hubs or someone to come help for the world ones. But im trying your build, or close to it. Same sword, upgrades but my stats are a tad different. I literally did it in my first try for once! I just back stepped and rolled a lot but used Bloodhounds Finesse the whole time. I waited til after the step ins and hit him then. I got a solid charged heavy in after he drops if you dodge his flying attack but you gotta be kinda close to him.I really appreciate your vids! I'm really bad at Souls games but you've been helping my confidence so much! Thanks Cowboy 😊
What he failed to mention is the ball bearing hunter or whatever that boss is called that spawns at the war masters hut during night time. Was NOT expecting that
I'm a fan of the souls series and when ER came out I only played a little, before stopping. Was a pinch too much at once. A year later I want to try, so before I do, I decide to go back to DS3 to warm up. DS3 I'm super comfy in, but to make sure I grab everything I decide to look up a walkthrough. Boom Hello Cowboy lol Fast forward to now, and I'm cruising right through ER now with ya. Thank you for taking the time and effort to help out so many. My comment is alot like many. Kudos to you Cownoy LOL
I've had the same issue, but I haven't killed Godrick. Just Margit. Only other thing extra I did was go get the Moonveil katana. I'm also level 49. So I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Love theis guide, Legit first time Souls like player, sad to say ive had the game since launce, and gave up on it about 2 days into the game, running arround blind getting wrecked, but now in 2024, i actually feel like im getting some where. i use your guides as place holders, i explore a ton after each one, and come back to where you are next vid either more leveled or with a fe more random items from self exploring.
Holy crap, Cowboy. Can you not try to see just how fast you can drop markers and then exit map? I love your guides, but WOW, trying to see where you're putting markers before you close the map is harder than the crucible knight. It's literally a split second. Otherwise a great walkthrough as always!
I just want to say how much appreciation I have for your videos and your dedication to helping out new players. I’m 23 years old and grew up in a very strict household where I was never allowed to play video games or own a console. My buddy sold me his PS4 Pro back in September and I had an absolute blast playing the Borderlands series, GOW 2018, Horizon ZD & FW, and most recently The Witcher 3. I thought after all those that I had enough “gaming experience” to try Elden Ring. *cue laughter* I was so excited because of everything I’d heard of the game, and I thought that to play the game the "right way" I needed to do it with no help. That being said, I chose the Stonesword Key as my first thingy and used it immediately at the fog gate right past the tutorial cave & before you step out into Limgrave. I proceeded to spend my first 10 hours in Fringefolk Hero's Grave. Words cannot describe the level of animosity and disrespect with which I was repeatedly, mercilessly clapped by an Ulcerated Tree Spirit. My friends who don't game were watching me die 7 seconds into respawning like dawg.. just delete this. I decided to give up and go out into Limgrave to see what's out there.. and spent another 5 hours getting a Tree Sentinel's Golden Halberd shoved up my ass because I thought I had to fight him since he was right there. I was ready to delete, and just accept that I'm not built for these games. I decided looking up a walk through would be my last Hail Mary, and because of you.... tonight I went back and curb stomped both of those mfs and felt the joy of not just getting stronger, but noticing how much I had improved at the game. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. This game is giving me the experience and the joy I had been waiting for my entire childhood.
The is another night time boss called the bell bearing hunter that spawns at the warmaster shack when the npc is not there but for this to trigger you first have to buy a ash of war from him and if he is still there at night just sit at grace and it will spawn he will drop the bone bell bearing
I probably would have given up on this game if it wasn't for you and your guides. Being is that it's my first souls game, I had no idea what I was doing and was feeling more frustration and confusion that anything else. Glad I didn't give up on it though cuz it is incredible. Thank you for these guides!!
Hey cowboy any ideas why the invader wouldn’t be spawning for some of us? Only way I deviated from the walkthrough on this character was being able to defeat the gaol boss that you gave up on
I got the god damn crucible knight!!! I dont want to brag im just proud of myself since Elden Ring is de facto my first souls game. Thank you for the walkthrough!
The invader doesn’t seem to happen in NG+. Also after the invader you grab a somber stone off a ruin. The knight on a horse right there on the cliff gives you an ash upon defeating him
this is the most fun ive had with a game since skyrim and ive never played dark souls before but man this games amazing just the mysteriousness of everything and how cool the bosses and enemies look theyre so unique looking
One thing to note: At 10:41, if you fight this boss and die i believe he doesnt respawn. I came here almost instanltly after starting the game, i died to him, came back during this walkthough and although the 2 fingers were available for pickup he isnt spawning anymore, anybody else have this issue ?
I died to him, went on the blow through the other field bosses, and he didn't respawn. Learned later that killing the field bosses locks him out. Why this game doesn't support different saves instead of autosaving on its own is beyond me, because it fucks you out of missables.
Dude thank you, I am using your walkthrough as a way to double check my play through. I appreciate the work you put in to provide this guide. Especially because getting a platinum in a from software game is extra shiny lol.
I am a huge fan of Cobowys guides, followed most of them and understand his game sense pretty well. So when it comes to bosses I mostly try and repeat until dead then resume vid and watch if cboy can beat or not. After 14 or so tries I figured , a tip for anyone: if you followed this with the same sword and setup. Use the art of war weapon style as much as possible. I was able to figure out when I could dash in those 250+ dmg and at the perfect range I hit the boss but he didnt hit me. It was close in the end tho, he is hard! Gl!
Dude, I bought the Stomp Uppercut Ash because you said it was good, I’m doing a strength build following your for the 100%, I wrecked the crucible knight first attempt. He had killed me like 6 or 7 straight times. I was like…..THANK YOU COWBOOOOOOOY
This is my first play through in this game and I love your videos, it’s more chill than I expected it’s nice to have an idea of where I’m going then being tossed to the wolves. Going the whole way!
First souls game I bought was demon souls and I said then I'd never play another souls game just to hard until I found this channel and I so glad I did you have helped me so much and now I can't get enough we appreciate you fightingcowboy
15% damage boost to mounted attacks really makes a big difference in fights with things like dragons or mounted enemies! Everyone should pick up the lance talisman
The guy with the big hammer that invades you and drop the talisman didn't invade in my world. Im at the right spot and the finger and other thing are there but no invasion. Anybody an idea? And before you jump off for the lance there was a guy on a horse that drops a ash of war
For the Crucible Knight, just use Bloodhound Finesse on him when he has his shield down, back away and repeat. Forget all the forward rolling and fancy parrying.
Just wanna say ignore children on the streams begging for more. It’s hard for me to just sit and play the game for all hours like I would like to cause of just career stuff and trying graduating this year .( where was this during the lock down ) . It’s plenty of content and I did so much just from exploring I was stronger than you after following your tips ! It’s so helpful it gives me some structure and cause it’s so big I get side tracked with other things I see and recognize from streams and I still discover something new or have “ oh shit moments “ . I have a checklist in my phone each time I play 😂😂 I always just get a little stronger than I was before .

@Funk Turm so true
Where’s the talisman I don’t see it
@@legendaryseph9406 if you are looking at the entrance of the cave from the outside it is going to be on your right hand side. You will see a bunch of fallen statures (like the giants that come to life) which there will be one of those giants that come to life. Around it you will see a corpse sitting upright and there you will get the Lance talisman
@@nelsonrodriguez9509 do you mean the catacomb? Because I’m looking at the cave

Tip for crucible knight: DON’T dodge roll backwards! His attacks are designed to catch you backing up. If you pay attention, he’s basically an “intro” to Godfrey fight… you want to dodge AT or around him and try to stay close. You’re actually safer close up than far away where you’ll most likely misjudge his capable range.
thank you! Now I died even faster. :D
Im honestly shocked with how much he struggled on it. If you use the bloodhound fangs special attack, it'll make it so easy to kill
Haha worst advice I have ever seen 🤣 like the other guy said, use the sword special attack

Amen !!!!
Your watching a video. Use the pause button
Put your playback speed down to 0.5x. This will be in the upper right hand corner of any video you watch here on UA-cam. It's funny to listen to people talk slow and it's a plus to gaming and it helps me all the time.
Dude he was trying to make an elden ring walkthrough if he slowed down this shit would be 1000 videos long
I've never played a souls game or something like this, so I wouldn't have known what to do without your walkthrough, I have just been doing what you do and idk how I woulda done this without your help, thanks for making videos like these.
Just keep the fight in that area..
this was extremely helpful thank you so much
This is the first time that I'm going along your guide with my game in real time and it's fun, like waiting eagerly for the next video and stuff, before I got to your guides when they were done. So thanks for everything 🙌🏾

I'm late to this party - but thanks dude! I'm a full-time mom, so these days my time for video games is limited. Playing along makes it reasonable for me to just go through and mostly experience the game without drowning in the sheer size of it :D

Cowboy after I spent an hour trying to kill the stupid bird and it dropped something: “it’s really not that useful”
LOL…so true
I've recommended these walkthrough's to a bunch of different people recently! TOP QUALITY!!

I really appreciate it and with the game having so much content I don't even know how you managed to put it all together into a wonderful walkthrough. God bless and have an awesome day.
my favorite thing about Cowboy’s walkthrough are the comments of people being grateful❤
Been following this series with my playthrough, you're awesome bro. First time messing with this kind of game so having this amount of direction and understanding early on is insane. I wait eagerly for your uploads hahaha - hoping you continue this series, you're a legend.
Hell yeah dude should be sponsored by them lol
I respect you a thousand times over for presenting this professional walkthrough for people who don't understand this game... you should have gotten paid for this LOL.. this game is extremely confusing it has no Direction in telling people where to go to next? Your commentary on UA-cam is a million times better than instruction manual book
God, I barely managed to kill the crucible knight after what felt like 10+ attempts. The only way that I was gonna be able to hit it consistently (since I was using the greatsword), was parrying. And parry I did. Every single attack, over and over. My hands are still shaking, Jesus Christ.
Im an eldritch being and i gotta say these walkthroughs are really helping me as a beginner to the souls series
I'm sure it will/has been covered before but the mounted knight you see at 11:41 drops golden vow ash of war
I told myself I was gonna clear everything by scouring the map in grids... After watching your vids, I see off-to-the-side areas I completely overlooked. I can't go back to the Skyrim days where I had time to burn, so thanks for the thorough walkthroughs that get straight to the point.
Thanks, following this guide series as a total newbie in souls games. But helps alot :D

You've turned this game from a 9/10 difficulty to a solid 1/10. I was struggling, but now I feel like a boss.
Crucible Knight is a really good tutorial boss for parrying. IMO it's the easiest way to take him down. Many of his attacks are easy to parry
I have to say that the cave in this episode is the first cave system in a game to make me say wow this is incredible. I can't wait to see the rest!

Was NOT expecting that
I thought my game wasn’t able to spawn that boss, i was so lost. Thanks for mentioning night time. 👍
I'm a fan of the souls series and when ER came out I only played a little, before stopping. Was a pinch too much at once. Holy crap, Cowboy. Can you not try to see just how fast you can drop markers and then exit map? I love your guides, but WOW, trying to see where you're putting markers before you close the map is harder than the crucible knight. It's literally a split second. Otherwise a great walkthrough as always!
Totally. You need a photographic memory. Lol

Which is the hardest out of all of them so far lol
I probably would have given up on this game if it wasn't for you and your guides. Being is that it's my first souls game, I had no idea what I was doing and was feeling more frustration and confusion that anything else. Glad I didn't give up on it though cuz it is incredible. Thank you for these guides!!
Hey cowboy any ideas why the invader wouldn’t be spawning for some of us? Only way I deviated from the walkthrough on this character was being able to defeat the gaol boss that you gave up on

I never fought him he didn't spawn
Same. I never fought the foo either
Have you been following this guide exactly, or did you defeat any other field bosses before going back to fight him?
I never fought him he doesn't spawn in my game I'm not sure why
I died to him, went on the blow through the other field bosses, and he didn't respawn. Learned later that killing the field bosses locks him out. Why this game doesn't support different saves instead of autosaving on its own is beyond me, because it fucks you out of missables.
Dude thank you, I am using your walkthrough as a way to double check my play through. I appreciate the work you put in to provide this guide. Especially because getting a platinum in a from software game is extra shiny lol.
at 12 minutes into the video there is a NPC on a horse.. kill it and get an ash of war golden vow
Gl!
Did anyone else NOT have that invader spawn in for them?????? I was able to just ride up and take the effigy...
Same. I don't know if killing Margit or being over leveled causes them not to spawn. That or it's a bug.
Dude, I bought the Stomp Uppercut Ash because you said it was good, I’m doing a strength build following your for the 100%, I wrecked the crucible knight first attempt. He had killed me like 6 or 7 straight times. I was like…..THANK YOU COWBOOOOOOOY
For anyone wondering I found out the deathbird only spawns at night time
thank you! I was wondering why I couldn't find it
Ty
This is my first play through in this game and I love your videos, it’s more chill than I expected it’s nice to have an idea of where I’m going then being tossed to the wolves. Going the whole way!
How did that Black Knife Assassin start off at half health?
This Assassin took part in the raid to kill Godwyn and was apparently heavily wounded. At least that's what I believe could've been happened.
First souls game I bought was demon souls and I said then I'd never play another souls game just to hard until I found this channel and I so glad I did you have helped me so much and now I can't get enough we appreciate you fightingcowboy
I think there is a talisman that increases horseback damage in NW Limgrave. It's NE of that pvp weakling and near a giant enemy in the field.
15% damage boost to mounted attacks really makes a big difference in fights with things like dragons or mounted enemies! Everyone should pick up the lance talisman
Without this guy I would be walking around randomly thinking Limgrave field was the whole game
I accidentally farmed a little too much now I’m level 107 😂
Just wanna say ignore children on the streams begging for more. It’s hard for me to just sit and play the game for all hours like I would like to cause of just career stuff and trying graduating this year .( where was this during the lock down ) . It’s plenty of content and I did so much just from exploring I was stronger than you after following your tips !
It’s so helpful it gives me some structure and cause it’s so big I get side tracked with other things I see and recognize from streams and I still discover something new or have “ oh shit moments “ . I have a checklist in my phone each time I play 😂😂 I always just get a little stronger than I was before .
These walk throughs have made the game absolutely amazing. Thank you!
