@@nessdbest8708 Honestly, there's a lot of words in FE that have questionable pronounciation. Camus, Jugdral, etc. Even Lyon, some people pronounce "Lion".
I wish, and I PRAY that we can see more Dark Magic utilization in the future like they did in the GBA games. The corruption and draining of emotions from the caster, leaving them as a husk and depriving them of the very reasons and spurnings for why they needed their power. Nergal and Bramimond both need a round of applause for the incredible work they've done as a villain and an example of such power.
FR!! I love the representation of dark magic with Bramimond and the side effects it can get you, like losing your own soul and not knowing what you even are
An FE moment is how Ashnard gives a ton of his background if you’re foolish enough to leave Reyson in his range. As if the game is giving you a stern talking to like a disappointed parent.
One of the best parts about sonia is she unironically believes she is human and not a morph despite looking identicial to ephidel and limstella. She constantly berrates limstella for being non human despite not realizing the ironic truth its great
A hero is only as good as the villain and Ike wouldn't be the greatest Fire Emblem hero/protagonist, if he didn't had the Black Knight as an antagonist.
I loved to say that it's not the case in front how Alear is more interesting than Sombron in Fire Emblem Engage, but the Fell Princess is there to prove me wrong. Alear and the Fell Princess are indeed both interesting characters and challenging bosses.
This countdown is amazing, I can't wait for the Modern FE ver. of his Villains Countdown! Make me wonder if he'll do a ""Top 15 Worst Fire Emblem Villains" Countdown in the future. The possibilities are endless.
Nergal is simply my FAVORITE villain in all fire emblem, not only it's the principal antagonist in his game but he's everything i always want to see from a Dark Druid, completely lost in darkness His tragic backstory and his descend to madness for power for a purpose he forgot makes him my number one Also i'm so glad he finally got to Heroes and he's a BEAST there
Love the list! You really sold me on Nergal, I really hate the dude but you made him interesting lol I did miss Arvis, Narcian and Oliver having their own entries though. And Petrine! She’s awesome
Best thing about Raydrik and Lekain is their HUGELY interesting versions of the rarely used much JIOL archetype! Best on the GREEDY POS King of Gra, Marth's kingdom's neighbor and ally who turned on Marth's kingdom, had a hand in Marth's father Cornelius demise and why Marth ran to Caeda kingdom before the Shadow Dragon's plot begins, but is minor in the large SCHEME of things, especially in the villains alliance despite his help in cementing their near final victory in securing Falchion. Even before his demise, he's whining about being the BUTT MONKEY in the Dohr Alliance and dies a coward, Lang in Mystery/New Mystery was a Jiol who lasted more then one chapter in establishing himself as a PURE Evil example of the entitled Noble Class Villain. But Raydrik is essentially what would happened had Jiol NOT lost Marth and continued to hound him for years, instead of Marth being safe with Caeda till he was prepared to counterattack Dohl and it's allies and he only had to WAIT for his deserved end! Raydrik hunts Leif relentlessly, giving him NO reprise to truly rest, note how Leif is compared to Marth. Especially Base Stats! Good story telling there on Marth having a place to relax, and train to prepare (like Seliph) and Leif not having much time to truly train and recover (Miranda's kingdom's fate when the Empire catches up to Leif in his past is an illustration of what would have happened if Dohr had realized Marth was in Talys (From it's Lore a Kingdom that JUST sprung up and was a minor ally of Altea, Marth's Kingdom. So Minor no one thought Marth could be hiding in Altea ONE FUCKING ALLY!) they got CURBSTOMPED and Leif is on the run AGAIN! Unlike Marth who TOOK THE FIGHT TO Dohr prepared and just around the Time Hardin's rebellion was getting steam. Leif is on the run ALOT and that makes Raydrik a more THREATENING Jiol as by the time Jiol came back into the plot, Marth had an Army to easily SMASH his army, compared to the made Prologue in Shadow Dragon Remake where all he had was Three Knights, a Veteran and some Archer he saved on the way that ONE had to sacrifice themselves to throw Jiol off! The man captures Leif and Co, does some FUCKED UP shit to Mareeta and causes Eyvel/Brigid to get turned to stone! Made it GREAT when you can FINALLY stop running and take the fight to him. In the end for all his BRAVADO, he's a coward to the very end, even using a MAGICAL SWORD that protects him and when cornered, cries to VELD to save him, when it was CLEAR he was ALWAYS meant to be a Dreadlord candidate (along with Leif's MAJOR Companions if you aren't careful!) so he had WAY more impact then Jiol and Lang ever did! Now LEKAIN, the fact this dude is ultimently responsibile for the Major Conflict the Tellius series is build on was interesting! Not the main mastermind of the REAL plan in the end, that was Lehran/Sephiran (Seriously why isn't he on your LIST, Lehran in my opinion was the BEST Gharnef in the series, even Rhea is a evolution on his character! They played him as FAR more tragic like Lyon who ironically is the Gharnef, Hardin AND Medeus of his game by virtue of Fomortiis being in his body. Though he also has Rudolf because he admits to Ephraim that you can't blame the entire affair of Sacred Stones completely on Fomortiis. Specifically both are long lived beings that once had HOPE, but ALOT of Trauma that they REALLY needed to see a Therapist frankly BROKE them, in Lehran's case, he gave up) but Lehran ONLY did what he did BECAUSE Lekain was SO Evil, SO Greedy, he caused the death of the LAST person he cared for, his Descendant the Previous Apostle and Empress (Micaiah and Sanaki Grandmother) and successfully FRAMED his people the Herons for it, causing their NEAR genocide. All for MORE personal Power and to protect his established power. The act so VILE to Lehran's REMAINING sanity that he gave up, and decided EVERYONE failed the Goddess test, and worked to awaken her in VIOLATION of the promise so she'd kill EVERYONE. A thing with the Gharnef's is that they were once GOOD MEN before they fail to evil and the Dark side made them forget (Gharef with the Darkstone and his OWN insecurities involving his old rival and their teacher Gotoh. Jedah with his zealotness to Duma, Manfroy giving UP on peaceful co-existance and deciding to revive Loptous out of Pure SPITE, and Nergal being the Example Niime and her son Canas WARNED about when dealing with the Series stable Dark/Elder Magic, in that if you stare into the abyss it looks back and takes something important away). Lekain acts like he's the one in charge, but Lehran played him for a fool, likely as one last diss to the bastard by letting him THINK he manipulated a war that could see him RULE all of Tellius, but instead it would have been his END along with everyone had Yune not interefered at the last second to Save the main characters! And even then REVIVED ONLY because he was a useful figurehead for "Ashera CHOSEN" a man so WICKED and arrogant he thought he was CHOSEN by the goddess and his sins were absolved when his punishment was ONLY abstained till Yune's allies were killed or the NEXT Judgement was made where he and the others would NOT survive as they were not needed at that point. The best part was it was IKE who damaged his ego the most, by pointing out in the end what even HE knew deep down, that he was NOT in control, that he was NEVER important, that HE was the throw away pawn, and all by a DIRTY COMMONER MERCENARY HE LOOKED DOWN UPON (Hell even his OWN Camus fucking abandoned him for Zelgius/BK when he had ENOUGH of working under such a VILE snake of a Master) for a man who believed he'd be remembered in the history books, he wasn't even MUCH of a FOOT NOTE in the "Legend of the Radiant Hero & Silver-Haired Maiden" LOL. I always thought that Camus died after you beat him in Shadow Dragon, but then again I'd know that he didn't if Nintendo would actually LOCALIZE its sequel!
To be fair we actually did get a game that takes place after Shadow Dragon where he's alive and he gets to join the player's army, it just doesn't take place on Archenea.
