Hey Mr Side Trip Life, I had a question for you's. I'm travelling to Thailand to stay for 2 months or 3 months, but one thing I'm really going to miss is playing music (guitar) and practicing... Do you know of any options for people in Hua Hin to practice music in a way that doesn't have the potential to bother other people? I'm thinking something like recording studio or sound proofed room like maybe kereoke or something? Would also settle for somewhere outdoors just far enough away from others it wouldn't bother them if there's anything like that. Was just wondering if you had any ideas for something like that, or perhaps might know the prices on something like a sound room, or even if any of the hotels/apartment buildings happen to have one that guests can use? Thanks in advance! Life looks lovely in Hua Hin ^^
@@taiyoctopus2958 There's loads of detached bungalows a bit away from town. I'm sure if you rented a motorbike and toured around you'd find one that's not too close to neighbours. If signing a lease, perhaps ask the owner of it's ok to sound proof or egg shell carton a room (non-permanently). Also hit HH FB groups and ask if anyone wants to jam, or has a place to play, you'll get like minded interest I'm sure (+trolls, just ignore;) Last, google 'hua hin recording studio' there's a few hits, not sure how active or up to date. Good luck. STL

Great video I have not been to Hua Hin for many years, I remember the lime guesthouse used to some really nice pies, the whole place looks very big now. 👍😎
@@SideTripLife Yes it sure does look like it I am hopping to to vist latter on in the year, in the mean time I can get a lot of enjoyment from watching your vidoes. Look foreward to the next one. 😎👍

I like your videos and Is better short like this. I walked all your route and after now I watched video. HH is so interesting place. I dont have idea where is funny part or clubs and today high tide swallowed beach or beach is somewhere else, they said south.
I'm Korean, but speak English, and I'm learning Thai from a Canadian hahaha. Love your videos man. Just a small suggestion, it might be a good idea to make a video with all the "instagrammable" places too, I think a lot of folks would be interested in that sort of thing.
Last year I was sitting at that Buffalo Bills Tavern as they were setting up for that Reggae Fest right before Songkran. Then I had to go to Pattaya for Chad B's birthday bash
I'm booking a couple of nights in HH - I'm delighted by the accomodation avail , eg Centara Grand right on the beach . very reasonsble rates too. cheers
im coming to hua hin for 9 days in late june..is that a good time to visit in the low season..prices,less tourist, etc also are the beaches clean and have clear water...thanx bro..love the vids,,i watch all the time
Great vids. Heading back to Bkk and best comfort in a couple days and then down to either Pattaya or hua hin. Hope you do some hotel visits. Sell me your car, just kidding , maybe
Line's hard to activate as a foreigner I found. I was in Thailand for a month earlier this year and couldn't get it registered, even with a Thai #. Had to use whatsapp for renting scooters and all that. Every other app worked fine but line, which of course is used by most Thais. Frustrating. Love the video as always.
I’m still hoping they will bring back the ferry to Pattaya. Be great to live in Hua Hin and go across to Pattaya once every month or two and forget about my morals for a couple days
Can't help but think there might be a better way to market chicken ass. I'll just echo the "why so short" moaning. I know you can't win, but i love the long, chilled vids. there aren't many UA-camrs I'd happily watch for forty minutes ✌
A large Chang can be had at Jomtien Night Market for 70B...two months ago also. I'm going to be visiting this area and going south down the coast a few hundred miles come this December. Your vids, doing that trip down toward Khanom, inspired me to do this on a Honda Forza 350 scooter for most of that month. This looks like an excellent area to spend some time if one has the proper visa to be renting long-term or during a retirement for sure. Personally, I prefer The Philippines but Thailand has its many pluses beyond what the PI has to offer in regards to infrastructure and prices for rental/hotel/airbnb etc. I've only watched a handful of your vids. You sound like you are a Canuk. Are you sir?
I am glad to watch your video update and know that this month MAY over there in Hua Hin is low season now and hope next month too but disappointed that you did not mention how is the weather over there now in MAY, was it still sunny sunshine days and is there any raining moment started there from MAY or not yet? I have already planning to travel to Hua Hin next month JUNE from 9th to 12th June 2024.
Finally got a bit of rain last week which helped break the heat dome. Next up is the annual wind/monsoon change from NE to SW which takes place usually mid-end May. This will bring rain/wind/waves to Phuket side but Gulf side (Hua Hin/Samui etc) is more protected thus less rain and calm seas initially for June-Aug (well, usually, we'll see;)
Can you tell me where you ate your meal? I'd like to try the same meal at that night market. Somehow give me the directions through Google Maps? Thanks😊
Hua Hin is generally walkable, as it is flat and has better sidewalks in many areas than most other places I've lived in Thailand. Depending on where you are staying, there are likely plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, and other shopping options within a short walk. There is one primary baht bus line; the green line, which runs up and down the main Phetkasem Road between Khao Takiab at the south end of town to the airport in the north. This route passes many of the main shopping and night market areas. Grab and Bolt are readily available, and there are tuk tuks and taxis standing by at most busy locations too. Cheers.
Green songtaews run throughout the day from Takiab to north Hua Hin along Petchkasem Rd. 15 baht per trip. Personally find a bicycle to be the perfect mode of transport.
Hey my wife and I are traveling to Hua Hin Next. Right now we are on Koh Larn. Any suggestions on where to stay out there. We will be there from the 18th-22nd.
Don't know what type of place you like or what your budget is. In recent visits I've found the Chalelarn Hotel to be delightful, full of beautiful Thai artefacts and has a pool on the roof and jacuzzi rooms available. Outside it looks like nothing much, but inside it's lovely inside the rooms. Staff are very friendly and it's right in the middle of town, not far from the night food market. In June I will be staying at the Panisara Pool Villa. Never tried this one before. It's about 4kms out of town but transport is ok for me. The place looks lovely. At the other end of the budget scale you have the Anantara Hua Hin. Very upmarket and absolutely stunning to stay at. I've stayed many times at Anantara in HH and BKK Riverside. You pay for it but you get treated like royalty! Similar budget to the Anantara you have the Centara, a little closer to town.
@aussiesam01 Great suggestions. Would just add one of my favs PP Villa Hotel, despite older it's very clean, good pool, lovely staff, inexpensive, walk to beach, bars etc. @leonleslie, enjoy guys, so many great value hotels in HH, spoilt for choice.
