Can your short responses take inspiration from the multiple choice? Like a multiple choice question would talk about a student having trouble with academic language-can you write about that in your short response when they ask you to identify one issue
Tailor your answers to the needs of the student. Like backwards planning or teaching to the audience. You can make dinner but if no one eats, dinner wasn’t served. Have a toolbox of supports of general learning types to help you in the short response section.
