It would be ok if you use a computer with it and the tv as a monitor but you want have a remote control for the volume. Not overkill I’m not sure if it practical.
So I really hope someone can help me complete my set up lol. I have a krk rokit 5 speaker that is plug into my Samsung monitor with 3.5 to xls cable. You may ask why I have it plug to my computer monitor? Well that monitor is a usb type c monitor that I run one cable to my mbp, which lets me output the volume to the monitor and the monitor takes it to the speaker. I love the set up with music and movies but its is so annoying have to reach behind the Samsung monitor to turn up or down the volume. I was looking into an interface but they are kinda of pricey and dont know if it well solve my problem. So the main question, if I buy an audio interface can I use it to connect my rokit and Samsung monitor to it and still be able to get audio from my mbp? If the mbp is not connected can I still be able to get sound from the monitor itself if I'm playing my Xbox(it does now since everything is connect to my Samsung monitor)?
These shouod be in tomorrow. Hopefully there great for mixing. I seen some mix revews.
How do you like it?
