i think those title animations are really cool. maybe a pattern or something instead of a flat colour, but I love the transparent letters
Initially I was looking at using gameplay in the foreground and background, but all of the clips look the same making it impossible to read ): so hopefully at some point I’ll be able to use them to better effect
@@ripecontext they’re very nice on properly backlit gameplay but there was one in the middle backdropped by a night scene and I couldn’t actually read it anymore
Loving the content. Please keep it up.
This looks like an amazing mod, and you are highlighting its virtues very well. I've felt lost and unchallenged in the endgame of Factorio, and this mod seems like it adds a lot of incremental puzzles/tradeoffs throughout the progress, keeping it challenging.
Can tell you're putting a lot of effort in, thanks. Leads to great content
Fun! Good video, as always. The pacing was good- part of me wants a bit more lingering on just watching the factory work. Spending a few extra seconds at the end of each explanation, to give our eyes and brains time to catch up and feel the rhythm of the new setup, would be helpful, I think!
Funnily enough I spent a lot of time cutting stuff like that out because I assumed it was boring, but if more people want this kind of stuff I can leave more in next time.
@@ripecontext It'll be preference by person, for sure, but I do appreciate getting a feel for the new rhythm and flow of the new setup. You don't have to do a full walk-through of each portion, but part of the fun of a progression-type series like this one is getting a feel for how things work at each stage. Especially with such a visually compact base, it can be tricky to gauge how much change is happening
You inspired me to play this evil mod, I loaded it up with a friend and we played the hell out of it, and last night, we finished it. It was a great time, and I have to thank you for getting me back into the game like this.
This is a really fun series, and the quality has gone up across the episodes!
One thing about the Covarex process, well, you don't really need it. even the initial 238 is enough for a lot of reactor fuel, so instead of waiting to get 40, then for covarex to spin up, you could have been running nuclear for a long time, with quite a few reactors already!
For a megabase it's 100% needed, but as long as you do the basic smarts of not overconsuming fuel cells when not needed, you should be fine without Covarex. Sure, you might need a few chests to store the dark green stuff, but bullets handle that nicely, as well as forgetting it out on a planet when leaving :D
adding pesto to the multi stage spaghettis plate in progress
Your so good at this mod, I died after 1 hour.
My advice would be to not be afraid to warp, there is very little downside to it and even after 80 warps it’s only like an 8 minute wait between warps which is not so hard to survive
Yesssssssss I was so happy to see this in my noti box
keep it up my brother doing great
yay! tbe warptorio video finally
Let's gooooo, great video man. Keep it up!
Thank you! Already working on the next one (;
Just that I needed after first exam. Great video
Good stuff
Thank you! Already working on the next one, closing in on the end so it might be the last one of the series.
wow productivity beacons, mods are so cool
Easily the most broken thing about this mod, you can research more slots than I have unlocked here, up to something like 8 or 10, and if you fill them all up with productivity modules I’d imagine you could probably get more than 100% productivity, so less than 500 of each ingredient to make a rocket.
And then it has a whole other tier of module which is a combination of the three.
@@ripecontext wow that sounds awesome!!!!! i cant wait for the next episode im loving the series thanks!!!!!
great to see you base getting easier to manage
PLEASE MORE MORE MORE PLEASE
excellent video, really enjoy your vids, especially since you changed your speaking style (it was kinda difficult to understand you at the beginning of this series)
two qol suggestions: vehicle snap mod or similar would help with driving vehicles.
also, you can use Q key as a pipette tool, so you dont have to keep opening your inventory constantly
Hmm I keep meaning to force myself to use q, not only makes videos better but also just makes the game easier to play. I’m terms of the driving, it’s not really the mechanics I struggle with, it’s all the damn rocks thanks to alien biomes.
Thank you for watching and I appreciate the suggestions!
amazing
one of hte many reasons to install squeak through is stuff like this
I think the developers said that making traversable builds was one of the challenges (with fluids).
Half the fun is the scrambled through the pipes
good video, been waiting for this. one recommendation, you are very quiet compared to the game, especially the music, and it drowns you out a bit. but overall good content
Was more excited for this than the birth of my son 😎
Also unrelated but for my warptorio play through I downloaded the attack helicopter mod and have been having a lot of fun raining down high explosive ordnance upon ignorant savages (innocent unknowing biters in their homes)
Currently in the process of recording the next episode, definitely my favourite research so far is the biter present delivery launcher.
Gonk :D
Gonk!
@@ripecontext G o n k :]
Wait, am I supposed to understand how the logic system works?
I've started and completed a playthough of this mod while you were making part 4.
Minor spoiler ahead:
To be honest, I was disappointed by the ending. Or rather, the fact, that there isn't one. You research last technology, that "allows you to create a teleporter to home", but all it does is teleports you (just you, not the platform) back to world 1 and allows you to set any of the worlds you visit as "home world". My disappointment comes from the fact, that previous "big" techs gave you something resembling a plot. This last tech gives nothing and, really, does nothing. So all you can do after that is to play normal factorio game, but with buffs from the mod itself.
A word of advise: look for "blue island" worlds - they have plenty of water around you, sometimes spawning you on an island that can easily be cleansed from biters. You'll be protected from attacks AND have resources to mine. However, the more you stay there, the more the game would lag (my guess is - from new biters spawning). By hour 4 my fps was dropping to single digits at times, so eventually I had to leave just to not play a power point presentation.
The ending is pretty depressing, recording the final episode right now and it’s just seeming a bit meh but i don’t want to do anything more than the “canon” ending because at this point I’m a bit tired of this mod.
Looking at the planet select menu now and i can’t find the one you mean, I’ve had pretty good returns at this point just going to rich planets, staying there for an hour or two, and then warping till I get a successful target and get back to a rich planet.
warptorio really sucks you in the moment you start it, but at some point it definitely feels like a chore to jump from planet to planet cause the swarms of biters drain your resources^^
The early game is definitely a lot stronger than the late game, I’m starting to feel the drag as I’m closing in on the end.
But I am using bots, I’m sure it’d be a lot more interesting with no logistic bots as as soon as I unlocked them it stopped being warptorio and started being funny shaped factorio
true
i messed up a few times in the normal warptorio2 runs and at some point started the expansion version - holy freaking moly, thats sometimes absolutely ridiculous^^
I don't know if its only me, but your voice is a little quite compared to the game. Other then that keep up the great content!
warptorio mod with out warptorio expansion pack mod is too easy.
