Oh man, compact claustrophobia... now that is nostalgia. Good to see it still holds up. Thank you for that callback. Keep up the good work!
He upgraded the 2d factory into a 3d factory :D Im excited to see the next episode
It's like someone combined the Factorissimo and Seablock mods, then decided to put it in Minecraft to get the kids hooked on automation.
Weird coincidence but I started playing this mod pack myself yesterday
This modpack is so much fun fr, finished it a few years ago and then DIED WITH MY BASE when going to the moon :)
Me: good video
Me while looking at the channel page: PPOOGGG Finally someone who plays factorio
Could never finish this pack myself but I can't wait to see your series on it
this is factorissimo block in minecraft
didnt expect to see you play this, i played it early on, it was a fun modpack but pretty normal after the beginning since the 13x13x13 rooms are so cheap making space not really an issue anymore which was the whole gimmick of the pack
Claustrophobia was such a fun modpack. My only problem was that some of the later sizes (like 11x11 I believe) did not unlock any new recipes or any new ways to create items, so they were kind of useless. Other than that, great modpack, I can highly recommend and I'm excited to see the playthrough.
those large sizes allowed either new miniaturization (which required new automation setups) or new tech mods (ID for the 11^3) but I can understand for most why that area gets tedious, my 2nd playthrough gave me a lot of insight on how to automate the majority of high tier crafts which actually made it a ton of fun for me. (another thing that made it fun was me turning into a nuclear lunatic trying to get a 13^3 box full of max tier NC RTG's) but yea, the larger sizes are mostly designed for more large scale builds rather than a new machine -> new recipe -> bigger size
you should make this a series, and do other modpacks?
Wow! This is probably my favorite Modpack out there! Very nice to see you play it. I'm especially exited to see your approach to some of the challenges i faced in my own playthrough ^^
Super interesting, excited to see more!
Just watched a sea block playthrough from someone else and judging by my past minecraft modded experiences this looks jsut as insane
i finished the pack before so i can give you a couple of tips:
-putting a generator in every room is not a good idea. Tunnels are a powerful tool you should use from the beginning.
-You can destroy the obsidian with any pickaxe
-Make one of the biggest rooms available and setup a proper "base" inside: storage, hub, misc stuff etc
-Use tunnels as much as possible. it will turn your whole base from scattered rooms into a giant network
- Set up a proper resource generation for every pickaxe (thats what i did) with autocrafting and all. I did that even before RS and it makes the game way easier one you have tens of thousands of ingots at your disposal
-once you have that making a automated system for modularium and compact walls is a god send.
Very nice video. Your post before inspired me to also give the modpack a try, and so far it's really a lot of fun. Question for you: how did you find the modpack? I'm already worried about what I'll play next after this since it's so satisfying.
Some small tips in case you're interested: for easy handling of thermal expansion machines make a wrench, try out the vacuumulator (+ a ton of 0 power auto clickers), the nuclear furnace is amazing and from I think it was steel pickaxes you can get a material which can be used to create a paxel which can instant mine cobblestone and logs.
I’m not sure which meaning you mean by how I found it, so I’ll answer both. I found it through a video by IGoByLotsOfNames, and I found it to be very fun and interesting, not like anything else I’ve played in modded minecraft.
@@ripecontextafter you get se experience you should play nomifactory
Hell yeah!! Man love this pack, can't wait for the greg
How do you keep on finding such fun modpacks to try? First Freight Forwarding and now this.
Love this so much!
My favorite modpack. Now i want to try it againg (i think 5th time already)
lets just hope he doesnt find gtnh 💀
but, good video!
If you don't mind losing the obsidian, you can still mine it with an iron pick, you just won't get the drop for it.
Also, I never knew this mod pack existed, it looks pretty fun.
Your cobblestone generator design stresses me out
You would do the same with 400 redstone blocks in a chest and nothing to do with them
Now that I started playing this mod and got a bit of a ways in, I can confirm on the “using redstone blocks for building material” part. I think I have about 6K redstone at the moment, stuck into a Cache in my mining room. It turns from “Oh, yay! Useful material!” into “Ughh why do I get so much of this stuff” VERY quickly once you start building the bigger rooms, heh.
great video :)
very cool
Wher is factorio x100
Gonk :]

Cool
I got bored of CC relatively quickly. It's a neat gimmick, but after managing the early game packing challenge, the mod doesn't really come up with other interesting ideas. Having access to progressively bigger machines takes away the one feature that made it engaging. Didn't have the ambition to finish it. Wouldn't blame you if you don't.
I'll go watch one of your Factorio series instead. (also did just subscribe to see Nullius part 2)
It's worse than Stoneblock.
