FINALLY A REAL REVIEW ON THIS ATV

  • @wizardofdodge77

I own a 19 FSI. Love the bike. Trail ride yes you feel the solid rear axle. Power lot's as you can pick the gear. Road use. 85kph or 55mph. Fuel economy is good. Plowing snow work's very well. I have some things that could be better but that is my opinion. But overall it is a ATV I would recommend.

@@RK-ds7im speedo lies. Mine will say 93 94 but I GPS it. Now I have gone to a taller tire now 26in and that brings in my top end for speed. But wow sucks the power down on top end. Still like the bike cause it works well in bottom. No need for 1000 but would be fun lol

Suzuki builds nice stuff. My 03 Eiger that I bought last year (Known for bad flywheels, though the previous owner replaced mine) has been great. It's still basically the same thing as yours but carbureted with an analog gauge. I got mine with 1160 miles, plow and winch for $2,050 and it still looks almost as good as new. The Eigers are a relatively unknown and hidden gem, probably due to the odd name, if you can find a clean one. I'd love to have bought a new machine but they are all so darn expensive. Add winch, plow, taxes and the dealer wants like $10K out the door.

I have a 2018 Asi with almost 2000 primarily street miles. Yes STREET! Legal to ride on the street in my town. I basically ride it like a motorcycle. The machine been 100% reliable even in Sub-Zero weather. The only thing I don't like about this machine is the fact that all my friends wanna ride it! Everyone that rides it is so surprised by how mighty the little motor is. I really should make some vids riding around town for UA-cam. I would have gotten the manual foot shift but as it is the CVT is such a pleasure in traffic. Up to 40 miles per hour I can literally outrun my friends 2015 Chevrolet Z-71. I have had her up to 62 mph which I don't encourage on such a short wheel base machine but I had too see top speed so you don't have too.
I really enjoy the fact that girls really love the machine. When I let them ride it on my other bud's dirt bike track he designed on his own property I can't get them off it! The smooth power delivery and auto transmission is really easy for first time riders to blast around on. The motor was originally designed for the Suzuki DR350 dual sport bike and makes massive midrange and has a nice little throaty wail that the chicks love.
It's a very fun machine and nothing against the Honda Rancher but you'd be surprised if you rode this back to back against the Honda. Buy the Honda if you want a work machine buy the KQ 400 if you want a dirt bike on 4 wheels!

Just added 26 11 to rear and 26 9 to front. Work's well but I found the motor lugged more on road running. Off road and mud. I think to stick with 25s. More to come as I just added today

Does the FSI option allow you to “engine brake” easier going down hills? Also can you say leave it in first gear to get more torque than the ASI version? My primary use will be carrying loads in and out of the woods for hunting and cutting firewood. I have no interest in speed. With all that in mind should I get FSI or ASI? What are the advantages of each? Thanks!
