- America rocked the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton CA on 7/2/17!
Subtitle: Sister Golden Hair chasing Sandman
Love the "snapple chat"-ting by Gerry and the great band intros! After Sandman, it was stand up, sit down, and then couldn't decide if we were going to remain standing. There was no time to stop and start the video before Sister Golden Hair started. Only did a 1/4 circle view of SGH since I was sitting.
Great songs to take you back. If you were a teenager at any age in the 70’s, you know these songs.
Sister Golden Hair NEVER gets old!!!
You don't play as long as America does without being loved all over the world for almost 50 years. These guys are a treasure, I LOVE this band. Listening to their music growing up was always special. They deserve to be in the R&RHOF. They are legendary!
IKR! History in the making, like Motown stuff..won't be around forever!

I've seen America in concert 3 times. Always great.
They have kept so trim and fit they can still bring the shit! Totally belong in the RRHOF. Their tunes are timeless time machines. Thank you America.
Always a great show. 👍
Are they in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ,if not why not ? 🤔
I bought every album they made back in their heyday and still have them. They sound great!!

It's great to see Dewey on Lead again.
My gawd! Sister sounds pretty good!
Thanks for a lifetime of great and positive and wholesome music, so needed in today's ever dissolving evil world : I play a lot of covers of your music, and people certainly still recognize your beautiful Melodie's. May God bless you all. Although you still sound great I still find myself missing your original line-up but I realize he is in a wonderful world free from pain and suffering. MAY WE ALL MEET IN THE ETERNAL WORLD when our time arrives, yet let's not hurry it😁😂😇
Always loved their music , brings back memories n such nice guys, still have some albums of theirs. Won't let them go for anything
I love this part of the show when they show all the people that help them out it's a lot of fun. Can't wait to see them on August 18th in Plymouth Mass
Thank You
Awesome👍👍
Please always remember "you can get our songs on "space-face" , "Face-page" or "Space-book - nailed it. ..But whatever you do, don't try to google AMERICA - That won't work." - Gerry Beckley
Lol!
GREAT!!!
Just saw them the other night. 52 years is still not part of Plan A.
I had stated earlier that I wished the 3 would get together for a reunion tour. Well didn't know that the 3rd had died in 2011. Sad to read this.
Yes Dan Peek sadly gone, was my favorite voice of the three
Ryan Steen is really great.
We met him after a show in Canyonville. He was very nice! They were wonderful and seemed like just nice people.
Great front man
sister golden hair, my favorite sound, some freinds like OZ/tinman/ Horse with no name. Dan the man!
The drummer looks like he could be Steve Perry’s son
Snapplechat haha
This is definitely a song you want to listen to on masculine! Micro dose! This band will take you flying over the Mexican desert! On a horse what's its name?
masculine? way to go, Joey!
@@milesstoneman 😂
This year is 2024 and they have been around for 53 years and still, No Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Such a shame!! Politic as usual
Please ,a Rivotril for this drummer ! Where is Willie Leacox ?
Thereza Dantas Willie retired in 2014. Ryland is great!
@@mumymusic Sorry, my friend but I don't agree with you. No one loves America more than I do. I miss Willie Leacox and Michael Woods.

Now brother he goes by the name of the son of man and satin too.and the next of kin too,i said I'd play my riddler and forge a tune too,as my strum is just as wise as i am and i enjoy my rythem and blues.and there it was the tabloids if afterbirth of the every star in place and placard as it is and mine Noname is stayed and just a face alone and is where i am at all the time too.greta news man,and sin if Sam.
On a horse with no name on mescaline!
I see they lost their drummer?
I don't know but this drummer is not good..
I love Rich Campbell. Where is Willie Leacox ? I didn't like this drummer.
🇺🇸
America had me since Sister Golden came out in 1975 when I was 17 yrs young. Thanks for posting & helping me stay in my youth.
"everybody here is really good at playing guitars. Except for the one who is in charge of the guitars... Can't play a note" lol.
Sound is terrible, should never have been posted,
very borderline , yes. I wonder why ?
