The crazy stuff about Leo isn't that he just plays every instrument on the songs, but he also makes a new one every week. The work he does is just phenomenal

Honestly I love that song but always found something lacking with it. Just missing. But Leo’s version is absolutely fantastic.
@@sinamy her voice is incredible and I love how she hits the high notes and the audio editing is subtle enough to make it so that its not overpowering. Have to listen with headphones its beautiful.
My favorite
I had NO idea what to make of Dance Monkey the first time I listened to it. Then, out of nowhere, Hannah came in with her "ooohhhhh" and I was shocked. I mean, I liked her in Africa, but that song didn't let her fully show off the pipes. To me, it felt more like a backing vocal performance, and she was over-powered by Leo's vocals. NONE of this is a complaint. It's still my favorite Leo song. I just didn't realize Hannah had alllll that voice. Dance Monkey is now in my top 5 Leo songs.

Have yet another comment suggesting Sultans of Swing (metal cover by Leo Moracchioli feat. Mary Spender). It helps the algorithm.
A short history lesson about Leo:
He has been playing metal music his whole life, mostly as a singer but also as a guitarist, and eventually opened a studio
Originally he just wanted local people to come record at his studio, so he did a few metal YT videos of pop songs to make people notice the studio
A few of them blew up and vent viral, so eventually he changed his business to doing YT videos in his studio once a week (he has since moved to a new house with a new/bigger studio)
A few times he the did videos with guest stars - and this Africa one became a big hit for him/them
He was then asked again and again to play it live.
At first he turned it down, and said it wasn't meant for live playing, because he does so much layering when he records the videos
But eventually he agreed, gathered a band (the 2 guests in this video are part of it) and started touring
The 2 guests are a couple by the way. They live in the UK
They were part of his touring band in 2019. There's some killer live footage. I don't know who they got into the white rabbit suit, but they're a party monster.
There are also several recurring themes/characters in his video.
Like the rabbit, the puppet, his use of kids toy instruments in some songs, etc.
His videos are just fun, and great music. Not every one hits home with me, but I still respect the work that goes into them.
Everyone is going to say Hello, Sultans of Swing, Dance Monkey. Those are all awesome covers and videos.
But one of my favorites is You're The Voice.
Check out his Feel Good inc cover of Gorilla's tune. Four words: Shopping mall. Bunny suit! MUST SEE!

I saw Leo on a festival in Austria listening to the bands while having a beer with one of his crew and I saw him, said to my gf that I have to talk to him and he is such a nice dude. We talked for a couple of minutes and I got to take a photo with him. He is so talented and loves doing his thing you have to admire him. You should definitely check out more of his covers!

And all covers and videos are usually made within 5 days. He starts on monday by choosing a song and finishes his week on friday with by releasing a new coversong.
I also would add up to those who recommend "Feel good inc.", "Hello", "Dance monkey", and "Sultans of swing" covers by Leo.
Yet i would also love to bring a new band to your attention: "Heilung" - "In Maidjan live at Castlefest"
About Heilung: They're a danish band with 3 permanent members which are from Germany, Denmark and Norway, they create a hole new genre calling it "Amplified history from iron aged and viking aged scandinavia and northern germany". All their lyrics are based on archeologic findings such as runestones, swords, pendents, amuletts etc. They work together with historians and are deeply into re-enactment and the guy from Germany, Kai, is a shaman.

63-year old metal head here. Nice to see your reactions. Rabea (Ra-bee-ah) is a British guitarist from Yorkshire originally, now in Brighton. He is literally my favourite guitarist on the planet. He plays in Toska, a prog metal 3-piece band with no singer. I literally travel from Toronto to the UK to see Toska - you need to react to Toska. Hannah is Rabea’s spouse, and she sings in a jazz band called Bledig.

I don't know what's better: Leo's covers or just how much fun watching his videos are? Dude is so funny. Everyone is going to recommend all his best covers. I'm gunna say do his Pokemon Theme Song cover. It's so funny and greatly done! Zombie is another one of my favorites.

The thing i LOVE with Leo is that he takes what makes the original song special and amplify it he dont ruin anything from the original he shows massive respect to it and thats amazing usually covers take something away from the original which in turn ruins the vibe of it

For clarification. his band does not have a rock cruise. He joins a rock cruise solo for the last few years as a guest (2020 was canceled) . Having met him a few times, I can say he is super chill and cool in RL.

Hannah Boulton is one of my all time favorite vocalist. Really enjoy her vocals in her group Bledig. It’s a bit of a piano jazzy sound. She’s a beaut as well.
This video was done at Leo’s old studio. He has a much, MUCH larger one now. Rabea is a heck of a talent as well. He’s been in a few bands as well as part of the Andertons Music channel (they are a music shop). Hannah is his (Rabea’s) girlfriend (I assume they are still together). This is my favorite cover from Leo though. His Adele cover might be second best.
