An easy way to find fake GBAs is to test them with original Gameboy and Gameboy Color carts. I haven't seen a bootleg GBA system that plays GB/GBC games yet. Also the lack of a backlight, rechargeable battery, and built-in games points it to being a used/refurbished original. If they sold it to you as 'brand new' I think you got scammed - it's obviously not - but at least it seems(?) to be authentic and not a counterfeit.
The rest looks legit, but the nintendo letters above the screen don't have the same nintendo font as the original. At first i thought this was gonna be the clone with a backlit screen, but it wasn't. Does it play gb/ gb color carts? If it does it seems like a pretty accurate hardware clone to me, or , maybe original? If it doesn't then it's definetly a clone.
I'm sure there's faults in the printing and fonts, but the plastic for sure isn't original. It sounds very cheap compared to an original one, it also seems really stiff. Idk how to explain it. Something seems off. Pretty positive it's a clone or an original with a new shell.
That's not a fake GBA though, it's actually a legitimate Game Boy Advance system released in Asia by iQue. You can tell it's a legit system by the label Made in Japan. Unlike other country, Nintendo doesn't market game hardware in Asia so they allowed iQue, a third party electronic company in China to handle marketing of some of their products in that part of the world. You basically got an Asian version of the GBA which share the same box art and manual as the Japanese version. It works just the same as a PAL and North America version and is region free as well as backwards compatible with every game. I don't get why people kept saying this is fake just because it's from China, China got these same systems too. The fake ones are the GB Boy or Game Box Advance.
Most fake gbas have a backlight screen and built in games and even some times a built in sd card slot too so i dont think its a fake but just a chinese repo gba console i think its not a fake cuz i have one of those ones from china and a real one and i cant see anything diffrent between the two.
Thanks a lot sir! It really helped me. Hahaha now i know that my game boy is fake :) the bettery holder is really cheap and weak like the one in the video

You can just tell by the Logo, if it's missing ® and the battery cover is stiff to close. Then it's fake.
That's just the shell, it's a used original GBA in a new, fake housing.

It's a fake one. look at the "Nintendo" logo above the screen. The font is different from the original one.
That the case is not original is clear, loock at the sides, thats a very good quality case, but nintendos original one is much better
but the electronic inside and the sticker on the back might be original
Dude it's not fake but refurbished., the shell maybe 3rd party but the motherboard is original
