Have a Mars 3 and have been pretty meh with it. Build plate is a bit bigger than the Sonic Mini overall, but the plate leveling is a pain due to the ball joint thingie. Been thinking about the 8KS or just blasti g through with the GK2. My only reservation is I don’t think I’ll be printing much bigger figures than 178mm or 1/8 scale, so a bigger bed might not be a huge deal. Sigh. More research to do!

Almost like you’re seeing them in 8k but actually it’s 4K shot on an iPhone probably in 1080 stretched to 4K but it’s still 8k prints. Haha

i have looked at Anycubic printers. They always seem to have deals. For me, print area is important. I would like a large area. The Anycubics seem to be in the $300-$400 range for the size I think I want. How does this Phrozen model compare to the Anycubics?

What happen if you drop the 8k resinein a 4k machine ?

I’d assume you’d get similar results on the undersides nice and crisp you won’t have it as crisp as 8k can get it but the difference is super small and only the most adhd of us hobbyists can see a difference a lot of people say they don’t see any differences, but I can definitely see it and feel it when I paint.

Still going strong. It’s amazing for small models of extreme details. Can do up to 1/6th scale easily in multiple plates. In my opinion it’s a definite top contender for a cheap but high quality machine

I have my sights set on the Phrozen Mighty 8K ATM. I am waiting to see who else brings out a 9K, with square pixels, before the year is over.

whats your opinion on washable resin im finding it abit brittle or is just me. great vid

I don’t generally use washable resin because when I started it used to always crack so I’m a bit weary of washable. I’ll need to do some testing now though to be sure

@@Groundeffected yea it is brittle I did the transformers from wicked 1 base in standard resin the other washable and where the feet go into the base it the washable resin broke out both where hollowed out the same. So definitely not using washable resin again

Can you please help me i have a Saturn 8k and im not very happy with the result can you tell me a good resin to have super deitailed prints with a 8k screen? I cant print anything good with Elegoo 8k Space Grey Resin! Without being the Phrozen Aqua Resin becasue i cant spend 70€ on a bottle. 😀
