It is really nice to see a home that isn't all gray and white. It is a beautiful home that we can tell is loved. I suggest that you rent a floor sander to sand the poarch. It will save your knees and back.
Your videos are influential and inspiring for me because even though I'm a 28 year old guy I still have things in common with you...I'm a hot mess who is challenged when it comes to keeping things clean and organized and I love antiques and odd knickknacks ❤
My Auntie still boils her tea towels! Before washing machines, my Grandmother had a 'copper' which was a huge pot that had a fire underneath. She washed everything in that copper and she had a wringer. It was fascinating to see. My mum had an automatic washing machine. We always hang washing outside in the sun in Australia. In winter I use the dryer and hang things next to the fire. If you add vinegar then dry in the sun they become sanitised. It is interesting to watch how you do sort and clean because you do things in your unique way. I have enjoyed the DOC series. I love the random 'surprise' aspect. I started my own! Thanks Sophia, it's a GREAT idea. I would love to hear you share what you've been doing for your weight loss. You look wonderful x
This reminded me of my cloth diapering days! As always I enjoy your videos... sorry to hear about your recent bout of depression, glad it has passed for you. I can relate! Thank you Sophia for opening up your heart, home and life with all of us. You are loved and appreciated for it! ❤️💐
When I discovered your channel maybe six months ago, I binged all of your decluttering videos in the order you filmed them and I would get SO FRUSTRATED because it was like you were saying the right things and not really taking the actions you needed to, but WOW!!! You've really found what works for you from multiple systems and you're getting so great at this that it doesn't seem as exhausting and hard on you as it used to be. It's great to see you perked back up. You were looking a little droopy like a plant that needed watering. You're back and even better than ever. So happy for you!
You are looking good, Sophia! You sure have lost weight and you seem so much happier. It's nice to see. For someone who claims to be such a mess you sure have your act together. You need to give yourself more credit.
I always learn something by watching your videos. This time it was realizing how just because we wash something in the machine it doesn't mean it's clean. I'll be boiling my dish towels and such very soon. Thanks, Sophia. xx
I love this series - you have reinforced for me that I achieve more then I break down my decluttering into smaller projects that I can manage and feels great to get on top of the piles etc. Thank you. PS: I love all your videos - so happy I found you, look forward to all your videos.
What does that say about us that we love watching Sophia sort her rags? 🤣🤣 What can we say? We’d watch you sort and clean anything! 💕🌸 Great motivation! ... Borax & Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda work wonders for stains or just brightening whites. 😉 You’re looking great, my friend! 🌻 Love the old radio you found! 💗💕
Watching you boil your cloths took me back to memories of me watching my momma do the same thing. It brought a smile to my face. You always are a great motivator for me because of your drive. Your fearlessness in the DIY areas are so wonderful. I so look forward to your videos.
Vintage My Great Challenge! So fun to revisit the kitchen-what progress you have made over the years! Its fabulous. You’re looking vibrant and alive, wonderful!!!!
When my towels start thinning and fraying they go in a cupboard in my laundry room for use in the garage or cleaning up messes. Usually I take my bath towels to our local animal shelter. They are always in need of towels and blankets.
I love that you’re a “regular household, not a Pinterest one! I did my laundry room today. Husband said I must be pregnant with all the nesting going on! HaHa...I’m 68, so don’t think so!
You are so motivational. Today, I cleaned off my deck of the tree limbs I've been breaking down to smaller twigs and small logs so I could fit them in my car and I hauled them off to the community yard waste place. Woo hoo! Now, after I scrub my deck of the debris, elm & maple seeds and mildew (it's composite decking) I can get my dining table out of the shed so I have a surface to work on as I declutter the adjacent indoor dining area and thoroughly clean that room. It's all a progression. I REALLY need to cull my dish towel collection.
I love seeing videos like this of you. You are an inspiration. You're looking great in that outfit and I really love the hair styles you wore in the video. You're doing GREAT Sophia!
I’ve never heard of boiling cleaning towels before, new to me. My Mom always had a bag hanging in the garage with old cleaning rags and old tee shirts for use outside of the kitchen.
I’ve watched you declutter for years. When you said 27 fling boogie I didn’t think you would be able to find enough from your kitchen, you must of really dug deep to get that many things. Your kitchen is so much more streamlined than it used to be. I remember when there was overflow on the top of your fridge and cabinets after you decluttered. You give me hope.
You look so good! Your weight loss is so evident...you are a pretty lady! I have 3 more things to do in my chore jar and am thinking about starting another one. Your DOC series is a winner for me!!
Sophia you are looking so good girl. I’m so happy to see you so happy. I’ve watched you for years and have loved watching your journey. Remember how long it would have taken you to clean the kitchen in the past?! That’s progress for you😃.
My husband walked through while I was watching and he said, "Wow! Sophia has lost a bunch of weight!" I didn't think he paid attention to what I watched...Lol! You look great! And much happier!
Sophia you look great and sound emotionally strong! Hugs to you. Can't wait to hear what you're doing to lose weight but it seems to agree with you! You and Scott seem happy and I am happy for you both!
I really want to see the linens after they’ve dried. I had never heard of boiling linens to clean them. I will try it. I thought your loose curls looked very nice on you. Looking good!
You look fabulous, you are looking so thin, the diet is working very good and quick. I love your videos...I don´t care what others say about your channel, you are unique and warrior, your not afraid of any type of project.
You you gorgeous! Your hair is so curly and beautiful! Keep it long! You look so content,, and congrats on the weight loss! You are so inspiring! Great video!
Fantastic job cleaning and organizing as always Sophia ! Genius job boiling tea towels 👍 💞 love garden and garage updates as well also loving 50s vibe with the music . So happy to see you looking healthy and beautiful 💅🌹😘 love from Australia xxx
Just a suggestion, I organized my kitchen washcloths and hand towels using the KonMari method, folded and stood on their ends and the drawer is pretty and very functional. I change out the washcloth and towel every morning and it's easy to pull them out and also to put the clean ones away.
Hi Sophia! I have to agree with a lot of your other viewers!! You are looking so great these days! I bet all that swimming is helping you get into shape. I love your cleaning and organizing videos! It's to bad things can't stay that way for a longer period of time! Love you bunches! Janet from NH
Sophia, boy you got lots done today. Really enjoyed watching this. I kept pausing and running and doing something that hit me as a "do it now" motivation. Thanks. I've been pret!ty useless around here lately, but this and your garage re-set really helped get my butt in gear. Thanks. Love you. Cheers.
Love you videos, Sophia. I’m in the process of sorting out cupboards and getting rid off a overflow of things. Many years ago I used terry nappies on my babies and use to boil those then hang outside , they looked lovely blowing in the line. You are looking so slim and well. Xx
I enjoy your videos because I’m also a fellow non-Instagram worthy house with average dirt kinda gal. I prefer to watch realistic, relatable stuff, not the fake, pretty stuff! Also just wanted to mention that your hair is looking extra fabulous lately as well. Fellow curl haired girl here! Lol! 👍 On another note, I LOVE that stained glass looking lamp you had in the kitchen by the window. So pretty!
You look amazing! I know you have been working at getting healthier and I think you are doing a great job! Your kitchen looks great! I have heard of laundry stripping, but haven't done it. I like your idea of boiling kitchen rags and towels. I am going to have to try it. Thanks for sharing.
Sophia, As soon as I see a new video of yours, I sit down with a cup cup of tea and watch you. You are looking marvelous! My Irish nana used to boil her whites and then lay them on her back lawn to disinfect and whiten in the sun.
Skinny Minnie!! I love the chatting, the sorting, the purging and all of it. Thanks so much for getting back to DOC. I will get out my jar as well and get back to it. More French, please! I love to hear you speak in French (I don't speak it). Read us a book! What's wrong with Le Chiffre's front left footie?? He was favoring it in the background when you dumped the pot of water. Hugs!!!!!
it looked to me like the reason your drawer wouldn't open all the way is because of the hardware on another drawer to your left side was preventing it from opening all the way. Am I wrong on that?
Thank you for the video Sophia you’re an inspiration to many people as “real life happens!” How did you decide the areas of D.O.C? it’s so overwhelming going room to room and everything that needs to be done jumping out at you?
I feel like I know your house almost as well as my own which is fun. I remember all your books and what was and now is in your cupboards. So I feel at home with you and you’re inspiring.
Exhilarating video! Fabulous music! You and Scott need to lose yourselves in some fine western swing dancing at a bonafide hole in the wall dance hall - when events permit, of course. We have numerous here in Texas. Loads of fun. Hope y'all have some there, too.
Maybe try storing your hand towels and dish cloths upright “Kon Mari” file style or roll them. You can fit more in the drawer and they stay neater. 😘💜👍🌸
I’m excited for all your going to be sharing on your channel! Can’t wait! Yay! You are the only person I watch anymore...most of the time anyways. I just painted a 1960s Hobart KitchenAid mixer! Love the outcome! It was chipping here and there and needed anew lease on life! It’s a workhorse in my kitchen! 👍🏽🤗💐💜
Love your kitchen videos. I started to follow your channel Fall of 2018. The episode was titled “Sophia vs the kitchen” I was hooked and I also watch your older videos as you are very motivating. You have made such progress through the years. I have noticed you make very quick decisions as to what to keep and what to get rid of. Good job.
You look gorgeous, even more so than usual. Your hair, your obvious weight loss, and smile - just everything!
I was just fixing to say this
I thought the same thing!
My thoughts precisely.
A beautiful person inside and out 😍
There aren’t too many people I could watch going through their rags and kitchen towels but Sophia is definitely one of them.😊❤️🙏
Totally agree. I could watch Sophia watching paint dry lol 😂
Em Bom ...and chatting with us!
Tina Mar oh yes love the chit chat 😃
She always manages to motivate me to D.O.C!!❤️😃
You don’t need to be an influencer! You’re our friend. That’s why we love you 😘
It is really nice to see a home that isn't all gray and white. It is a beautiful home that we can tell is loved. I suggest that you rent a floor sander to sand the poarch. It will save your knees and back.
Thank you. The goal is "normal" i think.

I love your hair! Plus, I love your videos. Your "normal". Your house is "normal". Your family is "normal". Not fake or staged. So relatable.
I love your videos because you are real life.. Keep up the good work..
I love your home! It has such character and you have such great pieces and antiques. So many Instagram homes all look the same. Love the channel!
I love this series - you have reinforced for me that I achieve more then I break down my decluttering into smaller projects that I can manage and feels great to get on top of the piles etc. Thank you. PS: I love all your videos - so happy I found you, look forward to all your videos.

I was watching the sorting with intense interest. Then she said, Is anybody interested in Sophia's rags? I was! Haha
@@teresaminick1169 Absolutely! :)
Longer curly hair suits you so well, you look literally so much younger
Watching you boil your cloths took me back to memories of me watching my momma do the same thing. It brought a smile to my face. You always are a great motivator for me because of your drive. Your fearlessness in the DIY areas are so wonderful. I so look forward to your videos.

Vintage My Great Challenge! So fun to revisit the kitchen-what progress you have made over the years! Its fabulous. You’re looking vibrant and alive, wonderful!!!!
I absolutely love dish towels so this was somewhat entertaining. I've never boiled mine.
I NEVER get tired of watching you clean!
When my towels start thinning and fraying they go in a cupboard in my laundry room for use in the garage or cleaning up messes. Usually I take my bath towels to our local animal shelter. They are always in need of towels and blankets.

Sophia you look so good!! Your hair, makeup, and your weight loss, wow!! You are just glowing!! Your hard work pays off!!
Watching your video has made me decide to give my kitchen a good clean and reorganise the worktops.

Learned something new today. Did not know you can boil towels for the kitchen! Looking good Sophia! TFS.😊 👍 💖
Just a suggestion, I organized my kitchen washcloths and hand towels using the KonMari method, folded and stood on their ends and the drawer is pretty and very functional. I change out the washcloth and towel every morning and it's easy to pull them out and also to put the clean ones away.

Also yellow is a good color for you. Looks so nice with your skin tone and your brown eyes.👍
I AM REALLY DIGGING YOUR HAIR! It is so cute! Reminds me of Meg ryans hair!
I get ants every spring also.
I just enjoy watching you. Feels like I’m with a good friend.😊

You are looking so good Sophia. Cant wait for the porch. Mine needs to be sanded and painted also. I need inspiration.

He slipped on the stairs. He s fine now
it looked to me like the reason your drawer wouldn't open all the way is because of the hardware on another drawer to your left side was preventing it from opening all the way. Am I wrong on that?
I boil mine with baking soda ,it really works !
Love this hairstyle on you. It makes you look younger.
Love your hair in this video Sophia!! I need some motivation to get going on my house again. Thanks for the great video. ♥️
I am inspired to clean! And I’m looking forward to seeing whether you’ll uncover the nice original stairs!
Nice to see you again Sophia ❤️
Your hair looks amazing!!! What products are you using?

Sophia, you look amazing,I can sebe that you are feeling better.I always look forward you video:) Hope you enjoyed the pool :) Greetings from Europe:)
Your hair and outfit looks lovely
I like your Corning ware displayed above the microwave so much better than on the open shelf above the sink
Maybe try storing your hand towels and dish cloths upright “Kon Mari” file style or roll them. You can fit more in the drawer and they stay neater. 😘💜👍🌸
Wow Sophia your weight loss is really noticeable in this video, you look AMAZING. Lovely to see you happy. Luv from Australia 🇦🇺 Xx
You got rid of so much! Great job! I’m so interested to see what you find under the concrete stairs.
Nice! I restored a 1950 Hobart Kitchenaid 3C mixer and am working on a 1940 3B. I had my 1950 3C professionally painted in pink
I just love that little radio!
Good job.
What did you add to the water besides baking soda? We never boil ours.
Detol. It is an all purpose cleaner and sanitizer. Kills tons of germs.
I've been focused on the zones, but I think I will make a chore jar! :) Thanks for your continued inspiration! Blessings!
Sencillamente, AMO estos vídeos!
Gracias por compartirlos ....
Sophia I love watching your videos, no matter what the contents are about.
You inspire me to get rid of the old cloths, get some new ones and boil them from now on .. I even ordered Detol in March when you talked about it!
Your hair looks wonderful! The curls look so healthy. I've never boiled rags before but think I'll try it.
