Good wheelies man. I've been learning second gears on my 17 701 sm. It's a hell of a bike that likes being on one wheel.

MotardSteve i have actually been utilizing some tips from one of your videos.I want to learn to walk out a long wheelie in second gear.I want to focus on Back brake , balance and technique and then once i get that down i will attempt to shift .

ThumperTodd Awesome man, just don't loop like I did. 😂
Once you start consistently getting close to balance point, start learning to drag the brake and keep your throttle damn near steady. My biggest mistake with wheelies was chopping throttle too much and not using the brake to control them. Seems like yours are already a bit smoother than mine were anyway. Safe practicing man and looking forward to your progress man.

No clutch needed? Nice. That 701 must be stout. I've been on a dr650 for several years and most of the time it takes the clutch to get it up in second unless the stars are aligned just right.

Thumper Todd what mods to you have on your bike. I can see the scott steering stabilizer. That also sounds like a pipe of some sort? It sounds good. Did you do any breather box mods or others? Thanks for your feedback
