Is it dangerous what he did? Yes, but the only reason they’re investing so much resources into it is because he embarrassed the Colorado highway patrol, the video went viral and the news reported on it which then had concerned residents asking where was Colorado highway patrol. So that’s why they’re going after him. Many many people speed out west, it’s nothing new, he just happened to leave a bad mark so the highway patrol wants to pat themselves on the back so the Colorado residents can feel comfortable their tax dollars are at work.

Every single day Colorado soccer moms drive more dangerously in their SUVs. Then again, they don’t make UA-cam videos flaunting it.
You can’t honestly believe that the average “soccer mom” is more dangerous than a dude who regularly pegs his bike while bobbing and weaving through traffic.
And he has no problem doing it with a passenger on the back who he just met for the first time minutes prior.

@@sleepyhorses6100 Nah, I believe it. SUVs weigh like 4000+ lb, which is almost 10 times what a bike weighs - they're gonna do a lot of damage, even at lower speeds.
@@sleepyhorses6100 its also the fact that u gotta calculate it all thats ahead watching every single car in front of you and beside, and being good at avoiding risk while just scaring everyone. That specific biker is great at it. Speed is way less of a problem when the driver/rider has great reaction and is aware of the road. Soccer moms obliviousness alone can be somewhat compared to a skilled but reckless driver.
Whole different story when they dont know wtf they're doing and just smash it without being able to handle the speed and the vehicle in general

Correct, but he hasn't gone to trial yet, and Texas has a case for him as well, Texas will absolutely yank his license for at least a year.

I think it's odd that UA-cam doesn't shut down the channels since speeding and such would be flagged as illegal content. I know Fast Lane D and Max Wrist are getting demonetized along with other content creators. I'm glad these videos exist because it is part of the sport bike culture.

They had camera footage of him at. A gas station the cops got phone records pulled, and it showed *the Brah's phone* in the area of colorado during the time of the "crime" (rado to denver part) being committed, and thats how they made the connection supposedly.
Just look up ghostrider with a turbo hayabusa. He is still alive and still doing his thing. And he started this way before the internet.
Actually I do not believe that is true, there was a huge crash in Sweden back in 05 I believe where a turboed busa crashed with 300 Km/h . It was rumoured it was the real ghostrider but never proven as far as I remember or know. After that he wasn't heard from for a long while so I believe it was the real ghostrider dying and that someone from the stunt team picked up the gauntlet to continue his legacy
I almost changed lanes on a guy in the area after the on ramp to the interstate we call disfunction junction. The traffic can be thick, and it is hit or miss, but everyone getting on the interstate wants over to the left lane. He was behind me on the ramp and got caught up with traffic trying to go all the way over while I blended in with traffic and took my time getting over but was ahead of him. There is a right-hand curve after that section, and you can't see more than a eighth mile behind you if traffic as stacked. The lane was clear, and I started getting over, but I happened to look again after I started initiating the lane change and there, he was barreling up behind me doing 100+ mph in his vw golf with his gf in the passenger seat. We both scared the crap out of each other, since I was doing about 70 with everyone else. But he got pissed and ended up getting off where I got off and followed me for a minute until I pulled into the university campus for class. I can only image what would happen if someone was doing 170 mph on a motorcycle. They'd probably go over the barricade and into oncoming traffic due to the curve.

@michaelmateo2399 I know from experience my attorney was voted 2nd best in the country. I ran from the police in a high speed chase. It went to court my attorney stated you can't prove it was him due to the full face helmet. The case was dismissed in Massachusetts

I know a guy that ran his Crf50 through a Walmart and the attorney fees were close to 50k. His biggest mistake was posting it on UA-cam. Lucky for him they dropped the felony charges and he got a misdemeanor. Point is if you do stupid shit don’t post it on any social media.

tons of people speed i25 to denver going almost 90 plus but to be honest going 5 10 over the speed limit is way different than going 70 or 80 over the speed limit. guys lucky to be alive on how screwed up the colorado roads are. one rock wouldve sent him flying
Your lane positioning puts my anxiety through the roof lol. Anyway, word on the Assault charge is that it’s more or less a clerical error; TX doesn’t have a comparable law to CO’s “menacing”, and that’s the most severe charge he faces. It is confirmed he was bonded out at $1k less than 24 hours after being extradited. I imagine he’s just trying to figure out where to go from here.
Most "content creator" clips have the same unsafe lane discipline. Guess they are too busy creating to take a motorcycle safety course.
The moral of the story is don't trust YT clips for common sense.

I don't understand how he wasn't arrested earlier. I know we all do stupid things when we're younger but Gixxer Brah was doing it regularly and odds are something bad was waiting for him or someone else at some point so this may actually be a blessing in disguise. Having a motorcycle is a ton of fun just pick your spots when it's relatively safe to do so and when nobody else could get hurt. Great content Spunky Boyy!

I'm from Colorado and the radio guy was talking about it and he did some digging and found that he was caught because of the radio peeing on his cell phone I guess that he would frequently pink all the towers while everyone else would bring them slowly he was picking up four times the speed or something like that and they tied it to his phone and tied it to him

I own a GSXR 1000. Its in the shop right now getting its 16,000 mile service. With what I'm having done to it it will be even quicker but I've lived through 45 years of motorcycling riding sport bikes for a reason. There is a way to ride and ride fast without being wreckless. Many sportbike riders are wreckless and Gixxer Brah is a perfect example of one. The phrase "play stupid games win stupid prizes" is well know because its a true statement. Hopefully, Gixxer Brah will come out on the other side a wiser and better motorcyclist and become an asset to the motorcycle riding community.
Totally agree, it drives me crazy how often I see people defending riders like this, there is no excuse to be riding like him, I don't have a problem with people going a little on the fast side but 100 plus cutting up traffic is ridiculous.

I mean… you record all of your illegal activities… that’s gonna be essentially impossible to defend against. That being said, it’s a bad idea that he does it in broad daylight when there’s the most normal commuting traffic on the road. Like, if you did this at like 2am with no one on the roads that’s one thing. Idk, everyone dicks around once in a while and it’s no big deal, but if you do it this consistently around lots of people… eventually someone is going to rat on you. Another thing I personally didn’t really like, was how he’d do all this stuff with a passenger on the back. Usually some girl who’s already expressed that they’re afraid. That part rubbed me the wrong way more than him speeding recklessly. But whatever it’s just my personal opinion. Considering his channel is/was monetized, law enforcement can subpoena Google for his account information. That said, there’s still a burden to prove it was the account’s owner on the bike. I’d like to hear a lawyer’s take on it all.

Im sorry and Im a rider but what he did is absolutely terrible and absolutely all those charges are appropriate. Its like pulling a gun on a crowded sidewalk and firing over and over seeing how close you can get to everyones heads without actually shooting hitting them. It may make for and exciting experience for him to do and for us to watch but one slip up, one miscalculation and whoever he hits is dead. They are dead, their kids in the back seat are dead, someones girlfriend or father or mother is dead not to mention ole Gixxer who is a greasy spot at that point, albeit a famous greasy spot. Bikers have a responsibility to encourage positive impressions from drivers WITH WHOM WE SHARE THE ROAD. Every car he blew by at 140+ made an enemy to motocycling and I think that is bad. Its not OUR roads and there should be some compromise for us to share that experience we love in the best way we can while respecting the space others have in whatever vehicle they choose. And when he puts some pretty girl on the back with him and rips like he does, man what a chance he takes with someone who trusted him. Anyway, you can give me hell for my feelings and I admit he is a heck of a rider but...
