I am Swiss so I can dare to say that: Only the BRITS (and Irish) got such gorgeous actors and actresses. It is that specific wicked charme and quick wit that you can find only there. Hugh Grant, whose self-ironic personality and charme reminds me on big actors like Cary Grant, Peter O'Toole and the like. It is fabulous that our generation has such charismatic actors,too. I hope he is going to play many good parts in the future.

Love Actually should have gotten awards. A wonderfully done movie with great actors and a story that wound itself around and then tied up all lose ends
I'm not particularly bothered with Hugh Grant even though I liked Four Weddings and just a little bit of Notting Hill ( only because I cannot stand Julia Roberts who I thought was miscast), but after watching Florence recently not to mention his brilliant acting on A Very English Scandal I started to look into his interviews on UA-cam. This guy is so intelligent so smart and very funny in a very English sarcastic style.👍 The only thing I'm not impressed with him about is his political viewpoints. But as an actor Hugh Grant is hugely underestimated.
When you say politics, do you mean you're not a supporter of his 'Hacked Off' campaign - stopping abuses of privacy by the newspapers inc hacking people's phones.
