Have you ever fished Cottonwood creek right below the trailhead below the Wilderness area above Lone Pine? LOADED with Golden Trout. Similar type of small creek in your video. It’s kinda trippy fishing at 10,000 ft. but it’s worth the drive up.
Yes, I have. I was just having this conversation with a buddy of mine. We were just up at Monache Meadows and talking about chasing the Goldens up above Lone Pine. It's a beautiful area and while there's a lot of hikers, I rarely see too many people fishing.
@@RoadandReel Good to hear! Yes I think most people are motivated to hike to the lakes etc up there. I've fished on three trips, but I've never done the lakes, just the creek from the parking lot downstream.
