- My fascination and obsession with HG Wells' The War of the Worlds has taken me very far indeed. In Spore, my creations are centered around the theme of Tripods, Martians and Heat-rays and my collection is continuing to grow. Some of you might remember my earlier video showcasing the various War of the Worlds creations and screenshots I had made using Spore, and I hope you enjoyed it. Since then I have made plenty more, and decided that I should make another Showcase, so here it is. Thank you. I've done a playthrough of part one and two on my channel. I havent got spore installed, but I hope to finished the playthrough and finish making the adventure series once I get it back up and running again. Great to see another War of the Worlds fan.

Btw they have a louder and more creepier tuned version horn sound of the regular tripods
It would have been interesting for sure, but probably wouldn't have advanced Ray's story any further. He wasn't interested in the Alien tech, just trying to survive.
reddalek555 and what I meant is speildburg didn’t give a description of the gargantuan tripods, which were there but really never planned, and I’m assuming a more powerful and more tentacle arraignment version of the regular one, btw look up darlek who and top 10 darlek fails they are funny
@@NERRP2017 That's true, they do appear to be more powerful. Likely designed for the front line assault on human military and defenses. Not sure about the extra heat rays or baskets, none of those details are shown. Though the machines seem to change sizes throughout the film. The one that rises out of the Hudson River is substantially larger than the one that is shot down at the end.
I enjoy that they are simply left a mystery. There's probably a lot about the Aliens that the regular refugee survivor would never know or experience.
reddalek555 yeah, and after watching it seems they are just more bigger versions of the smaller tripods, probably for defense and if the humans resisted the smaller ones the gargantuan ones would get the humans to let them use the blood after them, and no they don’t change sizes, the regular ones seem bigger when atop a hill, and stuff like that, and yeah they are a mystery, why did they make them if they only needed the smaller ones, I guess becuse the bigger gargantuan ones could cover more ground than the smaller building size ones, but yeah the gargantuan ones are a mystery of why they are there and what there purpose is, I am glad you modeled both from that movie, let’s just say both ones are pretty scary, wouldn’t want to come face to face with either in real life, I’d rather die.

Very true. I must say i am much better than how i was than when i first got the game. But of course, everyone was. Not to mention whenever you don't play the game you don't get much accomplished. I did, and I made them using the game Spore. I can't really be any more specific on their construction.
Why does that one look the 2005 one but has eyes, the one over the road with the fence at 3:20
